I am not sure on the size, like I posted earlier I was helping a buddy out in a tight spot. I dont have a title and know it will need a little mechanic work done but nothing to big. He put some larger tires on it from a rhino I think. I will have to get more info up later.

They are roughly 13" wide 19" tall and about 40" deep . I helped build these , sure they are a take on some of the popular mass production cages . Only difference is the rod from the pan to the door. They work good for what they are , shocked me how well they worked for us last year 20 cats and a few fox.
-
Like Presmyk said There is no wrong answer on whatever you do. I let one go last year to catch it in the same cage the next check and my partner decided to take it. It stretched to a 28" cat , basically a kitten. I felt like I was making the right decision in letting it go and he felt like he was making the right decision by taking it. Its hard to tell how big they really are in those cages especially if its the first one you have caught.

Nice cats . I have yet to catch my first on my own but me and a mutual friend pulled 20 out last year. Not going all in this year due to prices but still a good way to get out and do some scouting for other game.

Just like the topic says , I am looking to buy a Youth stock for a howa 1500. Bought one at a gun show this weekend and the stock is a little to long for the wife. Have looked around but cant really find one, I might be looking at the wrong sites.
-
It is a SA / varmint model I believe . No paperwork came with the gun so I am trying to piece it together myself on the info. Got a screaming deal on it just need a shorter stock. I think I found some but I sent Chad a PM so I am waiting to hear back from him.

It is composite. I am not really comfortable cutting anything down being I have never done it before and dont want to screw things up. With it being her first gun I want it to be durable and take a little bit of a beating. Just was wondering if there were other options out there.

There have been some questions/ debate about feral pigs around the central part of the state. I put some cameras out and this thing showed up.I could be wrong but this doesn't look like a Javi to me. A good place to get a pig none the less. .

Could have been lightning caused. Happens quite a bit actually . Looking out of Cottonwood yesterday I counted 4 different plumes of smoke. One was two were close to Sedona area one towards Flagstaff and then the other appeared to be on the rim.

General Questions #3..Hunting Techinques...
FancyRedneck replied to macknnc's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I believe its in how you prefer to hunt. I have 3 that I haven't shot over 220 and one inside 50 yards . Like Patrick Jr said if you are willing to risk losing that animal if you go after it thats your choice, I actually prefer the challenge of getting close. I think it depends on the wind ,terrain and a few being patient thats a big thing . My avatar was this years buck that I spotted at over 500. Fortunately I had everything in my favor and got to within 200. Year before that I killed a bigger buck spotted at over 800 and stalked to within 180 in just 15 min. It was wide open but I took the chance and it paid off. -
Had one with 305k was going strong. Just that a 3/4 ton dually killed it !!!

This is true , not very many big fish but there are a bunch of them... As of January of this year there is an estimated 13k trout per km. That is just from the launch ramp up to the dam. If you want to catch some of those big 10lb trout or close to , you should hit the spawn at Bright Angel creek where it runs into the Colorado.

Briarpatch Fur Sale Results
FancyRedneck replied to Hyperwrx's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
DCS , As I heard from someone who went up there it was a good thing that you shipped your furs off. Always a gamble but Briarpatch was worse than the Globe auction as far as averages. Nothing like taking it as Willie put it... -
Briarpatch Fur Sale Results
FancyRedneck replied to Hyperwrx's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
What is it with the buyers not showing up ??? Last I heard on Wednesday according to Bob there was 5 confirmed buyers. -
NMGFD almost as crooked as AZGFD. . still lots of ground for them to make up though.
FancyRedneck replied to bonecollector777's topic in The Campfire
I have my problems with AZGF but I take it for what it is.No agency is perfect , heck if it were we would all have tags in our pockets every year. Am I going to stop hunting because they have issues no, am I going to stop hunting because the raise tag prices no, I do it because I enjoy being outdoors seeing and doing thing most people can't . We should be glad we have the opportunity to do the things we enjoy. -
It does sound disappointing. I bet you are right about the prices driving people away. I for one started this year but have been going with some guys for a few years and I enjoy being out there but find it hard to find time . I missed half of the season this year due to work in the bottom of Grand Canyon counting fish ( not for azgf ) , but I'm sure most guys miss a bunch of the season due to work. I guess we will see how things turn out up at Kingman.

How were the prices?
