Looking to upgrade my camp cooking gear and looking for your input. Does anybody use a Weber Q2000 or Q2200? Kind of pricey so I thought I'd check on here to see if there are any experienced users that have/had one. CJ

Really appreciated all the feedback and humor. I pulled the trigger on the Weber Q2000 over the weekend and it will be a nice add to my gear. So........keep your eyes peeled on the classified section. As soon as I get some pics taken I am selling my 2 burner grill box with a custom made wooden storage/transport container. The grill is for the 16" (orange flame?) camp chef stoves.

Thanks for all of the replies and info. Gotta love the humor that was added too. I've got the camp chef, grill box, and griddle but hardly ever use them because mainly it is just the Mrs. and I or even me by myself on trips. I was thinking about selling the set until I read how passionate some of you are with these items. I believe I will get me a Weber Q2000 because of the size & weight for just 2 people.

Not exactly hunting related yet available for us hunters. Approx. 14 y/o Frigidaire side by side. This thing has been a workhorse. Works great, including the ice maker. We changed out colors in the house and already have a garage fridge. Little bit of rust on the door around dispenser. Free. Just need you to come get it, load it, and take it home. Due to recent surgery I cannot help load so bring a friend. Located in Chandler - 85249 PM me or email me at cnbnaz@cox.net

Fiat Chrysler Automotive group and Cummins have had a class action lawsuit filed against them at the end of last year. Not sure what has come of it. The 6.7L Cummins diesel engine has an issue with the selective catalytic converter (SCR) system breaking down, allowing the filter to get clogged. My 2015 experienced this and was part of a recall effort. Dealer tried to re-flash the computer but that didn't work. They ended up replacing the SCR system. Works fine now.

I Just just got a notice that RTIC coolers are 33% off again.

Read an article on AzFamily.com that the Feds want to thin the wild pig population on the Havasu Wildlife Refuge. Typical govt. idiot thinking, spending tax dollars on something that could actually generate revenue.

Confirmed. They're done selling for quite some time. Anybody have both a Yeti and an RTIC? I'd like to know if the drain plug and rubber latches from a Yeti are compatible with the RTIC. RTIC's website is sold out of both replacement parts already. Yeti website has plenty. Not being able to replace a worn out drain plug or broken latch would be a major let-down.

Ordered my 2nd 65 on Monday. On the truck and out for delivery today! Two 65's for less than a Yeti. Not bad.

^^^What he said^^^ 65qt coolers on sale right now for $170. Jump on it.

Super happy with my new RTIC 65. Buy two of the RTIC for the price of one Yeti. A side by side garage comparison in the heat of October and both were about equal. 1 week x 20lb bag of ice in each, both still had ~6lbs of ice leftover.

Not something you'd expect to see happen on your back patio. http://abc7.com/pets/video-mountain-lion-drags-deer-off-norcal-porch/1657574/

Curious what the ground blind community uses for seating while they are in there for extended periods of time. Do you use a stool or low seat? Do you use a regular camping fold-up chair? Looking for ideas to prolong my time in the blind without fidgeting around too much. Too many times in a duck blind and tree stand with my Dad back in the day and being told, "you'd best sit still or else!"

I bought an aluminum military hospital container off C/L. That container is the best thing ever for a camp box. Waterproof and airtight. 2-piece design where you lock in a section and turn it over to mate the other section. There are 10 heavy duty latches and a rubber seal that are very tough. There is a pressure relief screw on the side and believe me, if you don't release the pressure when you get home from the mountains you will never get the thing open. I threw it in my pool fully loaded and it floated like a bobber all day long. Tons of space for all your kitchen needs and then some. I can't upload a picture right now but if you Google "aluminum military hospital container" you'll see an image of what I am referring to.

I knocked out my wall and installed a 10' gate for under $400.

I agree with everything posted here. And want to ad my anger regarding the fires burning up North because of abandoned campfires. Those idiots need to be removed from society.

Stay away from the "popular" areas, Box Canyon area near the Gila, 96 Ranch Rd, Freeman Rd. Those places are nothing but a zoo of recreation riders & road hunters. The slopes around hwy 77 and farther South may be your best opportunities, seeing as your profile location shows you to be in the Globe area. Superior area has always produced pigs. Just gotta get out there and glass em up and watch out for private property.

I've got one. And paying for it is one of the better investments I make annually. Gives the Mrs. such a sense of relief knowing that when I am out there by myself I have the means to notify her to check in, and also alert S&R if I am ever in a dire need of medical assistance. Believe me when I say that I get little grief whenever I tell her I am heading out for the day or several days alone. My brother finally bought one after a coworker was rescued in the Colorado back country after breaking a leg. Swears by it.

Be very stealthy when trapping/relocating that critter. An angry cat owner could make things pretty tough on a guy. With surveillance systems becoming common items, one might be inclined to notify Sherriff Joe. And he's made animal cruelty a felony. Speaking from experience of a tree-huggin', cat-lovin' neighbor I once had. When in doubt, take it to the pound, if it returns, then................
