I’d much rather hunt in the snow than the rain and mud like others have said. After the storm passes the snow on the ground can make spotting them easier too.

I'm 5 8 and 160 and I have a large Teton jacket and it fits good, I would think a medium might be a little small. I wanted the guide jacket but it hasn't been in stock in vias for quite some time so I settled on the Teton. It is super light weight but the quality seems great.

I've been trying for the past month or so to get a guide jacket in vias but they have been on backorder for a while now. I sent them a message asking if they could give an estimated time frame for when they would have them available and they responded and said they didn't know when they would be receiving additional stock.

Good thing I got my order in before it crashed. Sure wish they could get their inventory issues figured out.

Was up in 27 this weekend doing some scouting. The weather was terrible, rained or snowed the entire past couple of days with low visibility. It sure is pretty up there with all the fresh snow thought. There is a lot of down timber on some of the smaller less traveled roads. Be prepared for blocked roads or take a chain saw. Hoping this snow doesn't move the bulls out of the area we have found them in.

I helped my brother tag out on a nice bull on this hunt last year. We didn't see too many road hunters, at least not any more than I've experienced in other units.

I felt it in Mesa. I was watching some football I had recorded from earlier in the day when I felt the house rumble at 11:30. I thought someone had run their car into my house.

What kind of groups are you getting with this rifle?

I have the Garmin 650 as do my dad and brother and we try to use them to communicate when out hunting. They are nice but my experience is the radio function doesn't work that great. The range is pretty poor especially when the terrain is anything but flat.

What scares me is the number of Americans that agree with Obama and believe gun control is the answer.

That is a sweet rifle. Wish I could talk myself into needing another 280.
