Yeah, we are missing something here.

The reason for such interest in this story, is that it's very easy to stand or pull for either side of this story without all the facts. We put ourselves in the situation and want to pull for or against this guy. Just because I hunt, does not mean that I automatically pull for him. My big question about the facts .... It's my understanding the animal had a collar. After he shot the lion, there seem to be issues about finding this hunter? Certainly need all the facts on this story.

A friend mentioned a recent story of 2 guys hunting. They were field dressing their moose (I believe), when the bear attacked and killed one of the two. The survivor had to spend the night with the friends body. Does anyone have the link to this story? I can't find it.

When I took the picture in my avatar, I was sitting 25 yards or less from this elk, sitting in the open, wearing shorts and a dark T-shirt (no camo of any kind). I had to move at the right time, to take the pic! If you don't move, they don't see you. I did the same for an antelope once. A blind is just to hide your movements. I usually can't sit still !!!
