Thanks for all the interest! I'll make some calls about patterns, certifications and sponsorships tomorrow and get back with everyone interested

Generally if it can be submerged in water it can be dipped. I've been getting some supplies and advice from a place in Arkansas, if there's enough interest I'm going take thier certification class and I'll get u a definative answer but I suspect it wouldn't be a problem

Nice tripod/head and some 8mm Remington Magnum brass and dies

Bought this tripod/head on a whim A couple weeks ago after some good reviews on Amazon and YouTube . Its actually a very decent tripod and a great value but isn't suited for back pack hunting. It would be great tripod used from a vehicle or quad. It's in the original box with all its goodies and has never left the living room, If someone wants to pick it up in Gilbert or close by Ill let it go for $50 bucks to save my lazy butt a trip to the post office. Link is below http://www.amazon.com/Ravelli-APGL4-Professional-Tripod-Adjustable/dp/B003SQEAY0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424447974&sr=8-1&keywords=ravelli+tripod I also found some 8mm Remington Magnum Dies ($20) and 50 rounds of new unfired Remington brass ($30) to go with it if anyone is been looking everywhere for it lol. I loved my 8mm actually but regretfully sold it a few years ago. Happy hunting friends! -
It's never too late. I think the 12x50 are a done deal I'll probably order them this week but I think I'll get with Ross outdoors about renting the 20x for the weekend before I pop for those though.
-
Thanks for the advice everyone. I think if I went this route I'd probably rent them for the weekend and try them out first

Hmmm... I think my description might be taking this in the wrong direction I'm not too interested in comparing the quality of optics. Lets suppose Swaro sold 20x56 binos do you think a set of 12x50 & 20x56 would be a better set up then a set of 10x42 and 15x56?
-
I think he was just meaning that for him even though the swaros are optically superior (& it certainly appeared he could have afforded 15x swaros) he preferred the extra magnification during the day. I think the basic logic was that since he was taking advantage of the superior light gathering abilities of 12x50's at first or last light anyways that he felt the vortex 20x compared favorably to the 15x Swaro and in those conditions he preferred the 20x vortex

No it sold sorry

Nice unused Midwayusa gun case here 42" model. GF got this for me for Xmas however my rifle doesn't fit in it. Thought about retiring it for an exchange but with shipping cost I'd rather sell it to a member for $50.00. I'm in Gilbert area
-
No problem Brian it was nice meeting you sorry I didn't have more time
-
it's a nice case I've already ordered those next longer one. hopefully someone on here can use it mostly I just don't want to tell my girlfriend that was the wrong thing lol
-
An m16 a2 is 39.5 inches if I remember right so unless you have something longer than 20 inches it should fit just fine
-
I have a 24" bolt gun that won't quite fit but comes real close. I'd think your average non magnum bolt gun would fit just fine

Anyone out there ever compared the Meopta (or Euro HD's)12x50's to Vortex Razor 12x50's. Sure can't beat the vortex warranty but there's sure some good reviews on the Meopta's

Thanks for the info all I've been passing it all on to him!
-
A good friend lost his pack headed home from a successful pig hunt, its somewhere between circle k in Florence and Southwestern meat processing.....I told him the good peeps of CouesWhitetail will find it!
-
Haven't yet but I've decided against vortex, the warranty is awesome but every pair of the binos I've tried ( and i admitidly haven't used the razor line much) I find myself constantly adjusting the diopter, am I the only one?? Meoptas are still an option but I'll prob save an extra month or 2 and just get some 15x swaros
-
Borntohunt.... Sold the binos a while ago sorry
-
Thanks everyone, luckily his binos weren't in there but he estimates around 1k loss w everything in there sure hope he gets it back...

He has a toyota forerunner and stopped in Florence for ice but he believes he put it back and remembers it at the game processor. He thinks he left it on top when he moved it to get his ice chest out
