Been looking into this for a while so I'm definitely excited.... Luckily I don't have many hunting friends so I may get to meet 1 or 2 new ones through this
-
Never been much of a spotting scope user but I've never really owned a good one. Been thinking of getting a good quality one and was wondering what your guess thoughts were does anyone regret the money they spent on it? I'd prefer to find a good used swaro 65mm (let me know if your selling one lol) but may get a vortex razor hd or even or new swaro depending on the advice I get here. Let me know your thoughts friends
-
Can't wait to meet up with you Sandman this sounds like a blast
-
Sent you a pm id like a few more details but I'm very interested!
-
Since I'm primarily gonna use it for taking a closer look at gave spotted w my 15's I think I'm gonna go w the straight. Bought all my swaro stuff plus pack and trips at from Cody at outdoorsmans...good peeps out there
-
I looked at the razor hd 65 mm today and it's a lot of scope for the money but I'm leaning towards the swaro, cry once right? Lol. I'll be making a trip to outdoorsmans next week it looks like
-
I've actually been looking hard at the razor 50. I'm not planning on using my spotting scope to glass for game mostly just for taking a closer look at critters I've found w my 15's (I actually think the outdoorsmans daul mount w 15's and the little 50 might be an awesome combo) so I'm thinking the small exit pupil might not matter much. The doubler for the 15's is also a interesting idea

I already have swaro range el's 10x42 and the new swaro 15's mounted to outdoorsmans tripod and head so I have those 2 areas covered. Got plenty of dough I just don't want 2500+ plus of spotting scope sitting at home or in the truck.

I lucked out and got a lifetime supply (or at least a barrels lifetime) of most of my favorite powders so I thought I'd post some of my extras just in case they were someone's favorite. I'm in Gilbert and obviously since it's powder it needs to be ftf. Most of these powders were opened to judge their metering potential but all are full 1 or 8 lb containers. Anyways here's what I have just sitting around 8lb WC 844 supposed to be same as H335 found some xterminator before I played with it so I can't speculate 1lb unique 1lb CFE 223 1lb 50BMG sealed 1lb RL 15 sealed 1lb VV N165 1lb of BW-68 A russian commercial powder available for a while. I'll probably take $20 a pound on the above stuff if anyone's interested otherwise its going to "experiment" shelf lol I also have a bunch of RL 22 and RL 15 that came from a bulk purchase if anyone's interested shoot me a pm. I don't know the guy at all but he was friendly and had some good advice so here's a link to the guy I got xterminator from. http://phoenix.backpage.com/SportsEquipForSale/ammunition-gun-powder-bullets-primers-brass-re-loading-supplies-ammo/33483444

Episodes 13-16 Jay Scott Outdoors Western Big Game Hunting and Fishing Podcast
tomkat12 replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
I've really been enjoying these podcasts, I find them a good way to unwind at night. Can't wait for Coues season -
Stewart solutions ( not to be confused w Stewart electric) also worked for AZ West in the past and have good things to say about both companies
-
We started a kid right out of school with no experience at $15 an hour but wage would be negotiated based on skills, experience and a CDL also pays more. We do work out of town but not out of state. Anyone interested can email me at tom@ssiaz.com. Those of that already have I've received them and will going thru them tomorrow. Experience is always good but we are willing to train a youngster if your responsible enough to show up and willing to learn!

Shoot me a resume at tom@ssiaz.com

Its super easy to donate folks, hit the link and gitter done! -
For what it's worth I ran Nightforce scopes for years and loved em but my friend talked me into trying a Sightron SIII and I just don't see myself going back. They track perfectly and glass is as good as the ATACR I have, all for less then half... Just my 2 cents
