Oh contraire. I'm measuring a 45 70 case now with 13grains of red dot. With a 405gr bullet properly seated, there's only 1/3 of the case empty. That's the charge recommended for the rolling block. Also, not enough empty space for an accidental double charge of 12 or 13 grains of red dot. Look at the difference in length between a 250 and a 405grain round..

Too much velocity? How far off was the data vs your chrono?

No, not recommended

BLM catches them every few years at the end of my driveway. They use a pen and trip wire, bait them with alfalfa. They'll catch 35 at a time and haul their asses (couldn't resist) to the state pen for gentling and adoption.

Probably only accepts Pesos

Welcome aboard. Look, listen, learn. Be wary of scammers with 'a friend in TX' and any members in 24a with tips on how to 'Field Dress.'

Typical drama in this hood. Seen the King. Again this morning looking fat and happy, always hunting. All hail The King!

True in NF also. So you start the animals on a processed or certified seedless feed 2 days in advance and off you go.

It's public land...we have some good video makers on CWT.

Remember, 'Bless the Beasts and the Children'? It's gonna be that stupid. Not long ago the Guv had sharpshooter in choppers above their precious Colo R. swamp blasting hogs instead of letting hunters harvest them. What have the feds learned? Judging by the foreseen process, not much. But hopefully no meat will be wasted.

Before dad became an owner/operator in trucking he drove for Haskell Linen, now Mission Linen. In the late '50s thru the mid '70s he drove a route collecting those hand towels plus rugs and shop rags from every saloon, commercial kitchen and mine from Tucson to Nogales. Then it all had to be sorted and counted before being delivered to the plant laundry. I honestly don't recall him getting sick. In fact, he lived into his 90s.

Easy nuff. I recall there's a big hole up there. Feed the Hualapais via air mail and free tenderizing too.

The ol lady (Queen of unawareness) stops at the store last night for a moment and comes back to my truck minus the catalytic converter. The thought of some slimeball crawling under my truck and hacking it up with a sawzall has left me beyond pissed. The thief wasn't done, he tried prying the hood open too probably after the battery, and damaged the hood release. Took me a half hour to release the latch again, it too needs replaced. The only joy I got last night was dreaming of how I would have loved catching the bastard in the act.
