Unit 9 is correct. You must know the unit well, cuz my pics suck. Any idea what that little stone building was used for? I'm thinking had to do with tourists heading up to the big hole.

Couestracker, Can I post some pics here of remote graves if I can find them?

Thanks for the compliments. Forgot to mention, that horse above made it thru the first 2 cuts as Secretariat in that recent Disney film. I only shoe one of my 8 horses due to a coronary band injury. All others are kept barefoot. The horse pics above, he's barefoot. If terribly rocky and carrying heavy loads, I will put boots on their fronts. The advancements made in horse boots and the added traction they give makes it a no-brainer for me. And I'm not out to diss any farriers, I'm a former farrier myself and do my own horses trims and I shoe the one Arab whom can't get by without a shoe, it holds his hoof together.. But not anyone with horses can do their own animals feet and someday as I age, I will have to pay someone else to do my trimming. MulePackHunter whom has the thread titled Meet the Mules, keeps his barefoot also. I know where you're going with the white foot thing, lot of horseman wonder the same thing. Farriers are the hardest working men and women I know and I greatly respect them. Here's a hint on the GMU, that one pic is a uranium mine.

On Charleston Rd just about a mile above the San Pedro, se side. Fascinating stories there and lots of massacre's.. It's also the oldest Anglo structure in AZ. I'll link to it after breakfast... www.examiner.com/article/brunkow-s-cabin-high-spirits Not the best article, but 20 murders there. A mining camp massacre, a pioneer family seeking shelter and Sheriff Houghton all killed there Another www.ghosttowns.com

Which grave did you add a photo of? I've used that website many times. I'm always poking around mining camps and ghost town's cemeteries. There's about 20 unmarked graves at Brunkow's Cabin in Cochise County, alone. The Arizona Pioneer and Cemetery Research Project is another great resource. www.apcrp.org

I have a few hold over horses from when I bred for halter class. The whole program was designed to breed versatile horses that could win in the show ring and take you down the trail in style. Just look at that hip, he'll get you up 25 miles of hilly trails a day and be ready to do it again the following day. If anyone reading this can ride or has a genuine will to learn or wants to pack, contact me. We keep a string of horses in need of riding. Not GMU 3a, I thought that building behind the horse would be a dead give away. .

Reading this, made my day.

I'm constantly amazed at the amount of water in the desert. Get out and look, you'll find it.

back half looks like a coachwhip.

Interesting, I was shed hunting last week in the Coconino and saw something similar. It was four times the size of an Albert's Squirrel and slightly larger than any housecat I've ever seen. My dog sent it into a hollow log. If it was a feral housecat, it was on steroids.

Sure, I'll travel up there so long as you pay fuel and expenses and take me whitetail and pheasant hunting.

Need recommendation for small tough quad trailer
Edge replied to Arrowsniper's topic in The Campfire
Nice rig, Kaibab. Yeah my buddy must have bought an 8' trailer, couldn't get the tailgate all the way up. That trailer looks about maxed out. -

What are you going to pull it with? About a 12' light tandem axle with ramp tailgate would be your best bet. You get a better ride for your UTV, it isn't shook to death trailering out. Also a tandem allows you to put more weight over the axles and less on the tongue, making less weight on the vehicles bumper. A good light tandem will also offer at minimum, rear trailer brakes. Getting good clearance is simple as tall tires and body lifts are easy as placing the springs over the axles. Friend of mine bought a single axle 8' or 10' trailer at Home Depot to put a Ranger on. Ranger was too long and I had to modify the trailer for him. -
Great Pics! I'm thinking Happy Valley? Could be Happy, Happy Valley.

Harry Reid is right. Those Nevada ranchers are breaking the law just like those domestic terrorists did at Lexington, MA on April 19, 1775; defying the lawful orders of their government. Anyone who believes the government is right in sending 200 armed agents and setting up snipers nests to put your family in the crosshairs, over a bill THEY believe you owe, YOU deserve the government you get.

Strangest thing that has ever came into your call???

Does flagging count? Had land near Datil, NM with about 70 antelope on it. Told my kids I could attract the fast goats with something as repelling as my boy's tighty whitey's. Hung them up in a juniper a couple hundred feet from camp and sure enough the next morning we had 3 bucks sniffing his fruit of the looms. . -
Buffhunter, I come to Tucson for trailer service. Was just there Friday and Saturday working on the eastside. PM me your info and I'll set something up.

I'm running a special right now, $79.95 per axle for my mobile trailer service (does not include races or bearings, if needed). Or bring the trailer to my shop near Lp 303 and Grand for low, low hourly rates. Tim 623 707-3420
