Question about receiving money without being a guide

From what I've researched, the feds actually give you much more leeway towards compensation than AZ does. Federal statutes allow you to be re-compensated for guiding or outfitting expenditures so long as you do not earn a profit on their lands without being an approved licensed, permitted and insured guide/outfitter.

    Introducing myself

Hey and welcome. Lived in Yelm and Graham WA from '94 to '97. Got a nice blacktail north of Elbe while I was there.

    Beefeater

Breeding for fine, loud cropped out overo's was plenty tough out in the UT backcountry. A few nights after this photo was taken, a lion got this little filly and gorged on her leaving me just a head a four legs from the knee down. It's been said before and painfully true, nature takes her toll. .

    Chuck Norris-isms

Chuck Norris doesn't drink beer often, but when he does, he has Steven Seagal serve it to him wearing a dress and heels.
  10. Yes, you could use this truck to tow your mother-in-law's home out of state, even if she's not in a trailer.
  11. Radical price drop! Am I insane or just drunk off my rocker? *This truck needs a job.* Now advertised for $2400, but $2200 to Coues members if purchased before I sober up. Might consider partial trades; guns, tools, etc. .

School me on White Wing Dove Patterns

About 40 years ago, I came across a flock of tens of thousands of them WW's down along the Tubac area. You couldn't get within a half mile of them before theyd jump up and put another 1/2 mile between them and you.

    Come on draw

Me and my ponies have been invited along on a lot of hunts this year, doesn't matter much to me if I get drawn or not, still be packing in and setting up camps, I've killed my fair share of game. Got an otc archery deer tag and a lion tag so I'm sure to get a lot of hunting in. Looking forward to a great fall out in the sticks. Good luck to all you hopefuls, get out and make some great memories. And from time to time, remember those whom fought for your freedom to do so.

Free pot should greatly motivate the vagrants to improve their lot in life.
  16. Yup, I hear ya. If it were 4wd I'd have no need for myF350. Its a tough truck though, used it for a decade at the ranch hauling water. With close to 2 tons in the bed, the springs still don't sag.

School me on White Wing Dove Patterns

I'm seeing mourning doves flying north. Maybe they know something the white wings don't. A lot of hay fields to your sw, addicted. Maybe looking for chow. I spent a couple weeks in TX helping a fellow catch pigeons at a feed mill. We set up net canons and touched them off when a good sized flock landed. A good net could catch a thousand birds. It was interesting watching the order of hierarchy on the heaps of corn. Pigeons first, then White Wings. Then the collard dove would come in and try and push the white wings off before they were done and mourning dove ate last. The little Incas doves didn't seem to care whom they ate with. PS, we caught about 7500 pigeons in all. They were caged up and sent to VA for a bird shoot. Those flying rats brought $4 ea.
  18. Dan, there's big fat ring necks everywhere. I feed about 2 dozen chickens and 10,000 dove every day.
  19. The skies are full of those gray ghosts, haven't shot them since the '70's but I want to if I can find ammo. Me and a buddy went riding a few months ago and for hours were flushing quail. For hours I don't think we were once without quail all around us.

Nice grouping, reminds of a scene from 'Young Frankenstein.'
