I picked 20b for my muzzleloader hunt due to working there and seeing an abundance of deer. But come mid June they vanished. Thinking they headed up the hills into the cooler climbs of the Bradshaws. The deer are returning to the lower hills, saw several the other day. Maybe I'll get to pop one? Using the Thompson Hawkins. 54 and packing in where the atvs ain't.

I hunt and fish holidays. I hunted deer on Thanksgiving and elk Christmas Eve the same year everyone was saying how odd Scott Peterson went fishing on Christmaseve. Maybe a bad comparison.

We used to have a couple bucks visit the Wickenburg shooting range when my buddies whom were the range hosts, were stalling their mules there. Guess they couldn't resist the stacks of Bermuda and alfalfa. I tried on a few occasions to rendezvous with them bucks during bow season but just never made a connection.
