Lark, Great lookin critter, name? Jack, The blondee started with halter shows and with those bloodlines and color genetics, she was more valuable as a brood mare. Bred at 3, 11 months gestation, year off, repeat. I know she can clear a 5' fence cuz I've not only seen her jump out of her stall, I've seen her jump back in. Lunging in the arena, she self rates and collects over obstacles and standards just like a veteran eventer Clearing 5' with an elk on the sawbucks? Sure, right after downing 5 gallons of RefBull.

Thanks Jack, horse trading is fun. Some, maybe most horse traders have earned their reputation and that horse trader stigma. Being ethical, I will not sell this mare to someone who is the wrong fit, otherwise I could have sold her yesterday. As she stands, this mare needs to go to someone interested in having her bred, packed, a pasture pet or has the ability to train her or send her to a trainer for saddle riding. Please, no more calls asking if she is suitable to ride your 4 year old in the Parada Del Sol. This is not a kids horse. A kid safe horse that doesn't have 3 hooves in the grave, is a tough, tough creature to find and I have a long list of parents looking for one. I would recommend trainer Twister Heller out in Congress, he gets great results for a fair price.

BeautifulI always enjoy seeing our youth involved in horses. Great going, well done sir!

No. She's just APHA and a tobiano pattern. She can't be registered aqha and I don't recall the other paint registry. Marilyn may be eligible for aqha papers. I just don't keep up with the association rule changes anymore. My neighbor back in Utah was crossing mammoths on foxtrotters. Gaited mules would be the ultimate, but your pack animals would have to be also in order to keep up.

Sweet. But I'll need the exact coordinates if I am to check on your cameras well being tomorrow.

I used to have a thing for the brunettes till I met my DeAnn. Mules name is Carlos Reavis Dos. Me and MulePackHunter Mike found him abandoned in the mountains last year. Mike has been working a lot with him and Carlos has come along ways. As you can see, Carlos is compact. But then most equines, buildings and battleship's look compact next to my big paint mare.

My experience tells me any horse can buck, can spook. But having had this mare 7 years, haven't seen it. I have seen her stomp a charging pit bull into the dust. Rather than take flight, she took a measurement and double barreled that dog in the head. That dog had gotten away with attacking horses before, but she quickly put an end to him.

I just looked at palominos on equinenow.com They are starting at $1500 for yearlings!

Put AZHog on the list. He bought a side of pork of us Fri, was prompt and friendly too. Didn't even have to twist his arm too hard when cold ones appeared.

Ooops, forgot to mention, thanks. Can't recall what she sticked at, but I'd guess 15.2 or 15.3hh But she'd be a good 17hh with heels, lol. She easily clears a 5' rail jumping and has just enough cow pony in her to give her attitude around steers. She's not a timid horse, have never seen her spook. We're trying to cut down on the herd size, 10 is too many and this one is prime for a job. Will be selling and leasing others. Besides, I'm picking up a very sexxy mule from Mike Hughes today.

It's been years since my truck looked as good as yours does now.

Was a good read. I believe Del only had a junior high school education but the contents of his horse packing and outfitting adventures kept my attention. Sending half broke pack horses on zip lines over raging rivers; heck yeah! Thanks, Mike

The last time I saw a buck dead at the bottom of a hole, the hole was a dry AZGFD watering hole.

This thread should be pinned for future references since surely additional hunters will share the same concerns. Now, back to the important work of clipping my toenails. -
Here's something my redneck friends can appreciate. 1. Those old tires lying around, fill them with dirt and compost (cannot recommend dog turds, sorry) and stick a tater in the dirt. 2. Pull up a lawn chair, pop open a cold one and watch the magic, you were looking for an excuse to relax. You're now a potato farmer. 3. Once the tater sprouts up several inches or a little more than the tread width of your tires, add another tire, more dirt and compost. Pop open more cold ones, life ain't all about work... 4. Repeat step 2..... 5. Repeat step 2..... 6. Repeat steps 2 and 2. 7. Repeat steps 2 and 3. By the time the tater plants look like they're ready for a fourth tire, your hard work is over. Knock them tires over, gather up the spuds. Have your wife clean up the mess and bake the taters so she can say she helped too. 8. Find a good divorce attorney and join AA.

It wasn't easy repurposing that old tire, still had some tread left. But I know where its at in case of an emergency.

carrots, beets, radish, any root veggie. Oh and meth haha They're also great for raising Skeeter's n black widows, too. Can even catch rain water for them long AZ dry spells. So long as you don't mind your drinking water tasting like rubber bands n fan belts.

Yup, easier than tossing the tires over the fence at the neighbors yappy mutts, although not as rewarding.
