Bought it with Marine Sniper, good read but Marine Sniper was fascinating. Even my mom couldn't put it down.

CA's interstate 5 has 2 choices; drive 55 in the truck lane or 90 in the fast lane. The truck lane might as well be a mine field, there's huge craters everywhere. CA can give illegals welfare but can't afford to resurface their roads.

I agree, driving the 101 into Scottsdale its like somebody hit the idiot switch. If you think AZ has bad drivers, you'd need to don diapers if you want to drive in the Philippines. And the traffic cops will pull you over and shake you down for driving while white.

Try Viet Namese for an interesting combination of Chinese and French cuisine. Best one is the Viet Kitchen se corner of Cave Creek and 101. Try the Bun Thit Nuong, its marinated pork or beef grilled and served over vermicelli and fresh vegetables with fish sauce. Ask for the fresh spring rolls. A couple can dine there for under $20 You gonna lovey lovey long time

That cat plays for keeps. Too bad it was a true wolf, not some USFWS poser.

I haven't cached water in bear country. But I did try caching canned goods and the bears dug them up and had a smörgåsbord.

Back country backpack trip for Coues
Edge replied to AZ_SAWBUCK's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Got to agree, sawbuck, packing animals into the outback is a lot of work. Its good to give your self a break and mix it up. But I must admit I went hiking a few days and really missed my horse. Can't go back and read all the great responses again but I don't recall seeing big trash bags. You might come across a dead head or something you want to keep but might not want to smell. A garbage bag saved my butt once when I ended up wearing it as a pancho. Can gather rain water or make a solar still with one, too. Also didn't see soap. A visine size bottle of Dawn unscented makes for Godliness. Have fun out there. -
Another way to look at it, the permit went up 100% from 1912-1950, about 3% per year. From 1950 to today, the tag (and we're just talking a tag, here) has gone up nearly 4,000% in the last 65 years while the value of the dollar is only worth a fraction of what it was in 1950. Heck of a deal Yeah, I'll keep hunting. But I won't keep quiet.

You're right, it was more like 3 or 4 miles to a known spring. Would love to know where the deer are wetting their beaks in there.

So you would rather be lead like sheep and not hold anyone accountable. Thats your right but I would like to know why the prices go up and the herds dwindle. Think Americans have been sheep long enough. So Sheep you be quiet Quigly,How ironic people like us donned our nations uniform to defend peoples rights to tell us to be quiet on a public discussion forum. I mean honesty, is that rich or what? Lmao

This is the first year I've put in for the draw In a while. I spent some time over seas and it kinda ruined the outdoor experience for me. With that said the prices surprised me Careful there buddy. Apparently there are some on this thread that would have you sent to a reeducation camp for even an utterance that questions the govt.

Not the weight loss program I want to ign up for! +1 for having you pack it in and cache. Them hosses can haul a lot more in a trip than I can. Last Nov., me and MULEPACKHUNTER packed in about 23 gallons and all the provisions for several guys could spend several days in a very arid region. Next closest water was 8 miles.

Hey buddyAZ is hot enough without having to drink hot water too. Only water I'm caching in the sun I'm using to bath with later. I go in and out of the sticks so often, I have water stashed in several locations. Have shared those locations with several hikers whom looked a little depleted along the trail, too. We're talking gallon jugs, just ask them to pack out the empties.

Here's a bump for a nice trailer. When this trailer was at my place, the neighbors were jealous.
