Lol. What can I say GreyGhost, great minds think alike...

I'll probably be crucified cuz I'm no ballistics head, but it would seem to me you'd get more bloodshot from a lighter round packing greater velocity.
-
I've downed 3 Coues with that round, probably less bloodshot meat than with my .243. Just learn the trajectory, that round drops rapidly after 200 yards

Had one come up on my porch back in UT. He woke me up slamming the lid on the BBQ, was collared problem bear. Later that night he busted thru a neighbor's screen door and got smacked over the head by a teenage gal wielding a frying pan. Following evening he went through another neighbor's screen door and the resident woke up to a bear sitting beside his bed, licking his arm. He startles the bear with a scream and punch to the nose and the bruin craps himself exiting the home. Resident can't sleep so he sits on the front porch with a 12 ga. Bear returns 90 minutes later and is shot with a slug at 15' Turns out the bear had infected canine and becoming emaciated and looking for easy chow.

He probably watched us put the salt down.

Then come along on a pack or scouting ride sometime. Always got horses looking for work. We're always looking for hay deals, write off two animals by training with MCSO Search and Rescue, do our own hoof work, have cheap pasture and not afraid to sell an animal.

Right on, I'm going to try and stay on his good side. Lol

All I know is, if that cowboy on AZSawbucks avatar was my trailboss and told me to "jump", I Would only ask " Sir, how high?" Great pic!

A couple quick saftey tips, sure to drive some of you nuts... Keep certain items on your person in the event your pony runs off to join the circus.. Cell phone, lighter, GPS, bladder pack.. Wear comfortable boots in the event of an unexpected long hike. Try and take a buddy.

I'd say it was time for the silent majority to be less silent... But we are busy clinging to our guns and bibles, busy working and paying taxes so others can bitch and have a free ride. And not to mention it's almost hunting season. So until the revolution begins in earnest, keep fighting them at the ballot box.

This is great, I want one too. My son is 31, he needs to slow down on the surfing and running 10k per day and get busier doing indoor sports.

Seeing as he has threatened an American presidential candidate, will the FBI investigate or did Obama already issue him an executive get out of jail free card?

Great pics, makes me miss the beehive

Same as a picket line, high line, or confining them in a pen. Lions rarely attack horses at all, although I did lose a baby filly to one while penned up with her dam.

It was good meeting you Ernesto, I think you humbled us. Next time we should wear name tags or at least come up with a secret confidential Coueswhitetail handshake. -
Was my pleasure, beef soon. I think I put you on the list long ago. Brian (IAborn) sent me down a nice chainsaw before I paid for it. To be that trusting of others, says a lot for your great character. Thanks again, guys

There's no shame in coming off a horse, I've spent 4 years recovering from my last wreck. And it's the good wrecks that make you appreciate all the good times you had while keeping the horse between you and the ground.
-
....and he's got the pictures to prove it.Maybe if we all ask nice, he'll post some? Dude, your a good man and trusted friend, but last time you came off your horse, looked like you had stepped out in front of a speeding train. What say you?
