Seeing as he has threatened an American presidential candidate, will the FBI investigate or did Obama already issue him an executive get out of jail free card?

Great pics, makes me miss the beehive

Same as a picket line, high line, or confining them in a pen. Lions rarely attack horses at all, although I did lose a baby filly to one while penned up with her dam.

It was good meeting you Ernesto, I think you humbled us. Next time we should wear name tags or at least come up with a secret confidential Coueswhitetail handshake. -
Was my pleasure, beef soon. I think I put you on the list long ago. Brian (IAborn) sent me down a nice chainsaw before I paid for it. To be that trusting of others, says a lot for your great character. Thanks again, guys

There's no shame in coming off a horse, I've spent 4 years recovering from my last wreck. And it's the good wrecks that make you appreciate all the good times you had while keeping the horse between you and the ground.

....and he's got the pictures to prove it.Maybe if we all ask nice, he'll post some? Dude, your a good man and trusted friend, but last time you came off your horse, looked like you had stepped out in front of a speeding train. What say you?

I had a good time and although I didn't win anything, the fillet and folks were great. Met TJ and Amanda and many more. Thanks again Amanda, its a great thing you do. -
I know guys that hobble their horse every time they dismount.
-
Folks think horses are domesticated, let go of the reins or lead rope and 90% will be gone in a flash, must be part of the romance. I know plenty of hunters that spent at least part of their hunt, hunting their horses.
-
I've got a friend right up the road from you that makes hobbles and pack saddles. Put him in his stall and shoot a pellet gun near him till he's OK with it, slowly move up in noise like a 22 and fire crackers. Don't assume he's trained, make certain
-
You've got a couple months to make sure your horses are desensitised to gunfire, are hobble trained and can stand tied all day or night without pulling. If u are going to buy a pack saddle, best start with carrying tires around and cans of rocks. Otherwise, teach those horses to drag logs and sacks around so they can be useful dragging a deer. Next time one of your chickens die, cut it open and get the blood on an old rug and throw it on the horses back till they stand still. I either have your hunt or Mike's (which could've been yours too). Best way to learn is to go with someone else whom has the knowledge. Train and there'll be no need to complain.

Have you tried selling these on Backpage or AZshooting.com?

Thanks, Duane has your money. Started right up for me.

I love horses too much to ever put them in jeopardy like I,ve been seeing. Even the lion hunter tied his stock to a barbed wire fence when he could have used a tree a short distance away. If Alone is a fair competition, it'll come down to bushcraft and mental toughness. The cry babies won't last. Even my gf wants to slap the whiney boys. They got 500,000 reasons to shut up and eat slugs.

For those of you with boob tubes, Alone is premeiring now on the History Channel.

Whew, talked me off the ledge. What a guy. -
I'm drawn for rifle deer. So there's a buck running around out there with my tag on him. Great arrow savingings too, won't have to take those long dramatic, unethical bow shots.

Great going ,Dan some good times and memories heading your way. Wink, how's pop doing? Find us a water source and corrals for the ponies.... Or not, putting them to work this fall, no more standing around and bitching at me. Heading to the credit union now, hope to get hit by more than the door on my way out.

They grow about the same elevation as junipers. Use Google Earth to find them

Great news, buddy!

With $500K at stake, you'd have to carry me out of there in a body bag. 5, 6 days in and some of these guys ain't got a fire started yet? Mountain Men Kyle the Cimmaron, NM clown needs replaced. Week or two ago sends his boy in to rope a roan colt he could have just walked up to and put a halter on. Result is a colt with hoof caught in panels. Last night the clown ties a horse to a gate and another horse is tied by the reins with a bit in his mouth. Both big no no's. This guy is a wannabe, has watched too many westerns. Did like the lion hunters home made dog paniers for packing the hounds in on mule. Panier covers looked like they came off a box fan. Great mule he's got.

In some locations you can buy off road diesel called red dye. It's tax free but for off road.
