Couple Recent Predator Hunts
Edge replied to CouesBuckhunter's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Nice job. Fox should've known better -
ain't that the truth. I've recently had two teenage boys latch onto me to learn hunting techniques. My success at predator calling is down, having fidgeting boys along, but worth the effort. Listening to them stumble thru the woods reminds me of my dad telling me I was just slightly more quiet than a bumbling buffalo, even though I was trying to be stealthy.

yeah, gets your butt in shape for sho, kept 911 on speed dial though. -
I was in 5a last archery day and opening rifle. Them bulls screamed and thrashed all night, I couldn't sleep. Heard a shot nearby, predawn opening morning. Found a gut pile but didn't see the bull taken.

Seriously????I ponder the ground anytime I go airborne.

If you have hounds whether in training or tried and true, I would like your number and region you'll run lions in. Please pm me. Last couple times I came across fresh tracks like I did these on Thursday, don't know who to call in all regions.

They are thick in 5a. Have the ol lady flush em your way.

funny right there. My Heeler thought he was a tuffy until he encountered a lion last Jan. Come to find out he's got afterburners and a whole new top gear.

Subconsciously I must have been pretty confident. I dozed off with 7+ minutes remaining.

Good luck to him. Hopefully your a lot more enjoyable afield than your demeanor online in the last couple threads I've seen you on like that toy hauler thread. -
With a 33pt. lead and 10 minutes or less left, why not put in a 2nd string Qtbk? Or am I just paranoid Carson's going to be hurt? I hope Pelosi is watching this.

But if a buddy or my gf reading this would like to give me the ultimate Christmas gift while helping the deer and elk populations, by all means, let's give them Pounders a call.

thanks, I've heard such great things about them that I've recommended them too. But I'm a po boy, looking for fellow hunters not for hire interested in running their hounds for fun and training. So far I've got a central AZ houndsman (could use more) and two down south. Looking for one in units 9/10 and in north central AZ. Thanks

Looks like a great hunt. I may look into hunting that unit, seems like a make or break place.

Time for a new tuck Diesel or Gas

When the F350 was new, bought a lifetime oil change from Fletcher. No limits on the oil changes, that was 11 years ago and it's obvious Fletchers hates me. But it works both ways. About 6 years ago I f....d up and let them do a full fluids change. Found out up near Kayenta they didn't refill the rear diff. After 2 1/2 days being stranded along the highway, a nice Navajo family adopted me. Now I closely observe every fluid change, even if its 110'F on their tarmac. Oh, and I got a pretty nice lift just by going with 285's. -
