Rifle hunt during Dec archery hunt
Edge replied to northAZarcher's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
If I were hunting closer to civilization, I would wear orange camo and floresent surveyors tape in the horses tail and manes. Trust me, the deer have no idea you are wearing bright colors. Packing a buddy almost 10 miles into a Wilderness area so not too concerned, probably won't see another hunter. Yesterday MulePackHunter pointed out to me that archery will be open as well so knowing this I will be a lot more picky on my Nov rifle hunt. -
The ol lady is a big fan. Accordian is cool again and classical banjo. Wonder if I they'd even notice if I appeared out of the brush with a Klan hood, playing a Jews harp?

Funny, several of us from Coueswhitetail took a long trail ride today and discussed filling up some remote mine shafts with undesirables.

when I lived in NM I often saw a decoy buck as I'd be driving to the ranch. 20 years ago the robotics were pretty fake.Come to find out a fellow got out of his truck and emptied an M1 into it. He won in court by telling the judge he wasn't poaching, knew it was a decoy then was gimme charged with property destruction.

At the Phoenix DOD induction center, I jumped into the USMC line, promptly failed the vision test (color blind), and quickly ushered back into the USAF line. I thank God daily fo the peace that existed. peace thru strength and resolve. Some of my memories 26 AD nuke/bio resistant blockhouse, Luke AFB . Heart of the 26th NORAD warning and weapons/interceptor guidance system, IBM AN/FSQ 7 computers tubes and memory banks deep within the hardened Bunker. Echo Display over WA state. If an echo came back with out flight plan interceptors launched. SAGE war room. Would somebody please hit the lights?

where exactly do her grandparents live? If you're familiar at all with Deming, that big brick mansion you can see just south of I-10, is the Baker Mansion. The old folks lived there twice over the years.

Sweet ride. Friend of mine recently bought a '68 1/2 ton with a rare factory 396. I helped him strip it completely down to the frame for restore. At least your ta ta listened and got that truck to you. Mine had promised me his '59 Apache Fleetside then sold it to a ranchhand instead! My second choice was a '57 Nomad 3 door with factory 283. But he installed headers and my pop said it was too hotrod. Ended up with a '59 Ford F100, 292 and 3 on the tree. I put headers and Cherry Bombs on it to pizz off Daddy-o

What does it profit a man to steal an RZR but lose his soul?

Well done and great pictures.

the road to Deming was best for us, about 70 miles round trip. They had a Western Auto and a brick of .22s was $2-$3 As the ranch mechanized, the old wagons were parked literally in the back 40. The wagons graveyard was a few hundred yards from the human graveyard. Contained a couple slow gunfighter's, a little girl and her father killed by the Apache Victorio.

It's a '70 C10 and 4 speed, ran like a raped ape. Would love to have it back. No ac, no heater, no radio, never left me stranded once and I took it on some hairy drives. Here was my '67 327/4spd. The old lady thought we was on our honeymoon; a pack ride thru the Santa Ritas, but I was scouting for coues.
