Great Rifle. I have the 760 only gun i take in the elk woods. I have had mine since i was 10 years old. Will never part ways with this rifleMy dad bought this rifle, was his first new gun. What scope mounts are you using?

Great deal, wish they had fit my truck.

excellent. can you tell me where the enfield is now? lee I got stupid and sold it. Many regrets. The old Winchester made Enfield went to a stranger on Backpage.

Had I been drawn, it's always old school for me. 65 year old Remington Gamemaster in .06, 4X Weaver tube.(below) Previous elk slayer was sporterized 1917 in .300 H.H. If I ever have a crisis, Biglakejake gets first crack at this rifle lol.

Really? Maybe you should head up the 7/08 frivolous lawsuit fund so Lark can sue Amanda for an April Fools joke. Step down from the altar.

Time to take granny's car keys. She thinks Cave Creek is in northern AZ, and insists there's caribou in CO.

Are these lampshades still available? I want to wear one to a party Saturday.

i didnt see this but the only thing i can think of that outdoor writer ever posted was "the next perversion of hunting" thread. .270 had countless good posts and laughs and seemed way cooler than outdoor writer. But if it were a contest, you'd be the last coolest dude left on the forum, buddy. Lark wants to punish Amanda for a joke well done, in all his years hasn't he learned to laugh at himself? In the end, Lark punishes himself. This is a great forum with a wide spectrum of interesting folks and bigger than any one individual. It'll eat at him until his next return.

Reading that dribble cost 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Payton should be suspended another season for general stupidity regarding the Bill of Rights. No wonder the Saints suck.

Maybe he went kayaking with Naturegirl?

We should have a contest. Winner gueses closest to his return date. He's left before.

He'll probably have a story about a pack of mutant wolves and zombie bears fighting him over his Hughes net dish. Good thing he's got his trusty 7/08.

Little help with safety question at a city of phx business
Edge replied to hoghntr's topic in The Campfire
My neighbor was pulling the auger off my 8n about ten years ago and though the tractor wasn't running he got complacent about pinch points. Got his hand caught between the power head and top link. When the auger fell to the ground, his gloved hand was still pinched in it. Glove still had 7 digits in it when I rushed him to Del Webb Hospital where he nearly died of blood loss. Seems every time a doctor was available to see him, a señora came in the emergency room to have her anchor baby. -

Sure, out on the farm where you grow up around all that it is a non factor......it is life every day. In the small farming community of Eastland, UT. where I lived, about 5% of the male's between the age of 14 and 64 buried in the community cemetery, were a result of tractor accidents. Things go south fast in a tractor mishap. -
Some good advice here. Two more things; check on what licence you need for a municipal lake. And if you are planning on catch and release, take your pliers and crush the barb on the hook. It'll be tougher keeping the fish on, but the fish will have a much greater chance of surviving.

I agree with str8shot. The grannies should have been forced to cut their own creosote switches. -

Sounds like the first lesson I gave the gf on the '56 Case/International 330. But it had brakes for what they were worth. Tractors have a wide learning curve. Was it a trike? Sorry this happened, Mike. I too would have been looking for some butts to put my boot up, idiots. -
Sorry to hear, buddy.

It's only a few miles south of Skeleton Canyon so it must be haunted and cursed too. Looks like a covered water tank to me. I find the nearby ruins far more interesting. The only flight restrictions would apply to aircraft coming out of Mexico without a flight plan, if ya know what I mean. London's on fire and this is how the Brits spend their time.

Going to high school in Tucson, in the 70's; my Merle 8 tracks got a lot of air time in my '59 Ford pickup.
