This happened to me in 27 when I was about 12. The buck was nearly dead on the ground and maybe 100 yards ahead of me when some dental challenged hick shot him again. Suddenly half his clan was there screaming ownership and they looked desperate with nothing to lose. Was like a scene from Deliverance only I was much prettier than Ned Beatty. I went on to get a much nicer buck the following day.

It knocked down power poles a couple blocks south, I sware it looked like a weak tornado here. I saw a vortex and watched the kennel roof go into orbit. Some folks a 1/4 mile away still without power. .

I'm good, got the ac and freezer on, hauling water from Wittman and sent the ol lady for beer. We're both saddened the power is out. Ol lady returned home from Anguilla last nite and Im sure she's anxious to get back to vacuum.

Power still out. No power; no well, no ac, freezer defrosting makes Edge edgy. I may have to make coffee on the grill. If each cwt member would bring out a pint of bottled water and dump in the livestock tank, mucho gracias, you can take home some free fertilizer and(!) take a selfie with my cat, Mr. Jingle's(but you gots to rub his belly first).

If any body hears of any rain totals, I'd appreciate an update. Suppose to be at the airport at 1am, like to drive the car but will take the F350 if need be. Besides there's bound to be some Dodges needing pulled out of puddles.
