Exactly. Year or two ago there was news footage of a so called wild horse hit and killed near the Salt River. Problem is the horse was wearing shoes. The number of horses running wild may be increasing but it's not due to breeding, they can't breed that fast due to 11 month gestation, ability to only carry one foal and herd Dynamics I won't get into. If their numbers are increasing it's due to people turning them loose. Part of that problem was generated by libtard fools whom rallied to close the equine slaughterhouses.

Pretty much. They make epoxy for shallow posts, sets up quick so be prepared. 30' of fence posts placed over rock isnt crucial if you have good solid corners and sturdy posts either side of the rocks. You can also build a rock column over the rock. Build a cage where the post goes and fill with rocks.rock cage.JPG I hadn't thought of that. And the bone is a great touch. It's going to hold some horses- but you know, that might just work. Out in the sticks you see these rock posts often. Horses; use smooth tension wire, no Barb's and a strand or two of hot wire.

My DB neighbor decided they're going to be the traffic cops. We live on a rough dirt, dead end Rd. No one drives fast on it except them and their kids rip up and down on it ilegally on unlicensed ATVs. There's a dumpster at the end of the road that the well sharers pay for. Since the DB is too cheap to pay for his own trash service and he's not on our well, he sneaks out and tosses his trash in it when no one is looking. Ya know the kind of DB that only can acknowledge you when they want something. It's ok to vent about bad neighbors, and it is slow on here. Maybe by the end of the thread we'll find our DB neighbor ain't as bad as they could be.

I saw that, bought one almost identical to it on CL for $75 last week. Fellow on here gave me one just like it. But in defense, they are spendy new. -
They're from an estate I've been liquidating last 18 months, I haven't shot either but with a 6 1/2" barrel the Ruger has 2 1/4" on the Colt. But it has a quarter pound on the Colt too. Wish the Ruger hade dovetails for some squirrel scoping.

The buddy who's safe I've filled up would agree...

Being out of the way and less than a thousand feet, hook up a long trailer with a rack and make the drive to Queen Creek or maybe Wilcox. Don't forget a stick of 2 7/8 to cut up for gate hinges. I need a dozen sticks, probably get it out of Avondale. Bunger steel will notch the posts .50cents ea.

Ironic considering that lake was created by miners in the interest of mining. A century before the current dam was built, Sylvester Mowry had created a reservoir there to supply water for a hydraulic mining venture that never happened. From the USGS: the amount of mercury from mining in larger watersheds is a fraction of what is contributed by other sources and processes such as atmospheric deposition, land disturbance, and erosion of less contaminated soils.... ..
