Files are mediocre knife blades, they don't hold edges well. Files have a fraction of the carbon knife material like 5160 spring steel has.

Amanda knows about tick emergencies. For a couples years, a friend of ours was slowly wasting away from an unknown ailment till they diagnosed Lyme Disease.

Now that I've visited or worked in all but maybe 8-10 states, the only place I would move to is AK. Working on fishing boats traveling from Lake Union WA to the Bering Sea, I was immersed in the marine lifestyle of the inside passage. All you needed for transportation in SE AK, a 16' aluminum boat and kicker to pick up supplies and the mail before cruising back to one of the many thousands of forested islands. Build a dock and cabin from the trees on your homestead. Tough choices like dining on salmon, sole, crab, duck or venison. All you need are skills and a little seed money.

I said that up until 2009 when circumstances found me working in SE TX for a year. Dissapointed I didn't have a hog hunting oppurtunity but I did some crazy azz fishing. Never adjusted to living in TX.

I was an army surgeon in one of AZs numerous post Civil Wars forts. I had numerous scientific pursuits including archeology and zoology. If you've hunted AZ, surely you've mentioned my name.

Scratch Pine Flats. But lots of spots on 169 along Cineiga Creek.
-
The poor bastards. Was murder disguesd as the law.

You've got everything right here in AZ. Why on earth would you want to leave friends and family including future grandkids? You also have this misconstrued concept you need ditch water for pasture. At the right elevation and annual precip (including snow) pastures of winter wheat, gamma and alfalfa for parking your mules on is quite adequate. Then you can add Dry Land Farmer to your list of dubious nomenclatures, oh, and stop whining. Perfect case of not knowing what you got until your gone.

Negative. I believe our guest army Dr died a Lt. Col.

No. But Dr Coues was stationed Ft Whipple during the Civil War,

How long is your trailer? If not too long, the pines along Arrastra Creek are nice and the creeks running, deer abound. It's Pine Flats Rd and Senator Highway SW of Mayer. You can take Senator Highway from there to Prescott but it's a dirt road. Just Google Pine Flats or Goodwin AZ. A better choice might be Powell Springs area near Cherry, AZ. The USFS campground is closed but there's parking in the area or all along Hwy 169. It's paved, year round Creek in spots and maybe 30 minutes from Prescott.

You neglected to mention Salt Cedar.

I'm driving down I-17 and Dugas RD. see a smoke plume billowing up from what appears to be the Cedar Bench area. WTH?

Floods can expose gold's host rock and move fine placer. The term for recent recharging of streams and washes with the shiney mineral is 'flood gold.' Fires certainly help accessibility.

If it's something bloody, messy or let's say chili, freeze it then vacuum seal.

They shut down the company store for the time being but yeah I've put a lot of meat grinders and dehydrators up for sale. Hopefully it'll reopen in the fall?

If it's what I think it is (not the best pic), it's not a critical part. It's a lever to give you some extra leverage when retracting the spring loaded sliding coupler on the hitch. I'd reinforce it while repairing it. They used too thin gauge steeI manufacturing it. I have one on a livestock trailer that bent from fatigue but never broke. Pm me if you want me to come fix it. Seems we're always talking about this trailer.
