I got a savage 270 wIth a muzzle break, 22x Simons 44 mag scope, cut the stock off and install soft recoil pad for the kids, it hits everything they shoot at , from pigs to elk, beet up but the best most accurate kids gun I ever seen. Now the grand kids are starting to use it this year.

Dumpsters, no Christmas this year.

Ya from what I've seen in this state during hunts , I would say there are a lot of deer unrecovered, a lot, I bet half the hunters out ther don't check there shot if the animal doesn't drop in its tracks. Ya bone heads.

Would say October, because you said squirrel hunting, only open from Oct to end of Dec, unless we making our own rules, then April would be great.

No pack and a knife was the way to go back in the day with your 7x35 tasko's and your 3x9 Bushnell scope. Everything you shot was only 200yrds away, easy pack out. Anyway I sent in a small zillion pocket bandlands pack the other day do to zipper problems. Just received the brand new style 2200 pack in return.. I am now totally sold on badlands. Oh and some jerky and granola bars in your pocket.
