Congratulations!

super buck with a bow! Thanks for posting the pics and welcome to the site!
It llooks like catalinas to me too!
-
The picture is a 99.8% keeper.
The buck HAS to be over 100... I'll say 107 for gross

I always thought I'd have agood campsite if I got to the unit and was ready to scout for a couple days early. Then the practice of setting "empty" camps became common. More opportunity for anti's to keep hunters out of areas, more opportunity for thieves to rip off more of your stuff besides a game camera, it's about people looking out for number one. Lots more but overcrowdere and overpressured hunting areas and hunters.
It's about more opportunity!

As the hunter said, That is the buck of a lifetime! What a story!
-
Sweet! Some drought ender there! What did he score?
The buck fever is pretty neat. IT never leaves you until you leave hunting to someone else.
-
It doesn't get any better than that!
Congratulations and nicely done on the video too!

Been there, done that, got the Tee shirt....
Also pot roast, steaks and stew... mmmm Good!
Enjoy the experience and the meals. You know how to find em, next time he'll be yours.

Overkill? Well I'd say it got the job done and that about says it all!
Military snipers use 50 cal for their targets and that could be called overkill too but it isn't.
Congratulations to your Bro on his first Coues!

Dude, you look really happy up there! in MT You're starting to sound poetic and your photos are showing artistic flair too!
Too much country to explore and hunt ... Too much time on your hands in wide open spaces.... NAW never can have too much time out there...
Thanks for sending us some cheer!

wow, nice buck and way to go!

Interesting story. Think of the non military uses once it is adapted to personell (Which I heard it has been)Invisibility! The ultimate Camo

Great story and nice execution there. Smiling at that one I Bet!

Great Buck n Story Jim Congratulations!

I betcha Jesse is coming here to help clean up the mess we force the illegals to walk through to get to the US cities.
I am surprised that you would blame the problem on the illegals when clearly it is George Bush's Fault!

Nice first coues buck for sure! Congratulations to you both.
What's the story? You both got deer at the same time in the same place?
-
Very nice Buck. Congratulations for finding one of the few....
With all the other hunters seeing nothing you did good!
He does look like a big bodied deer!
Kaibab was loaded with hunters eh? Go figure....
AZGFD must have looked that unit over real close and determined it was
Ripe for more opportunity!

Super Buck. Love that Claw on the Left side!
Congratulations! What unit were you in?
-
congrats on the successful hunts. You got some meat in the freezer and is sounds like a rare situation with essentially the same hunt, 2 days in a row.
30 ft off a quad trail is the real BONUS!
Y'know, your pop has good taste in hunting shirts too!
-
Nice buck indeed.
I assume you were alone as you were trying to use the self timer. Looks like it was a long day for ya....
by the way, share the story whne you get rested up.

Holey Double header! 2 Coues in 2 days?
Looks like the best kind of "Double take".
Congratulations on a decent pair of deer. Good luck on the new smokepole hobby! Looks like you are off to a fine start!

I wear it too. I think it helps break up the outlines and may give some advantage. The long range glassing and hunting is probably not needing camo ..but how often do you see something much closer than you intended? Happens to me when hiking in to a set up and I don't want to spook a whole area with 1 scared deer flagging his way out of the area.
I like the looks of it too. So many patterns to choose from. I Started wearing it to work this year and that is pretty cool since I've been business casual for many years. It makes it easier to catch one of the staff "prairie doggin" in the cubicles too!
