Josh, Looks like that "FIX" should keep the DT's away for a while, eh? Awesome find!

I got a plan for baiting a lion. This worked for me! Go out to an area you don't know, and start hiking around. Helps if you do it while scouting for elk, or deer or anything but Lions. Make sure you leave your gun, knife, and radio in the truck and split up with your hunting partner to cover more ground. Now you are alone, without a weapon in a lions hunting territory. It Didn't take long for one to find me! That was the last time I go out without a gun!

New G&F Commissioner appointed
az4life replied to Diamondbackaz's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
At least the appointment was not the vegetarian anti hunter woman they were pitching a few weeks ago! Anyone Napolo-Reno wants in, must be questioned somewhat! -
If this really happens, a video would be sooooo cool! It Might make the argument about who didn't do what and when easier too if the Bear ends up with a piece of someone! America's Funniest Videos, here we come!

Okay, I will take a guess on this one based on some old time deductive parts counterman reaoning. Been a while so I may be rusty, but here goes... If any of the starters have had the front housing cracked, it is almost always due to kickback (backfire) or misfire. I would suggest the first thing to check is the distributor cap and rotor. The rotor on these models commonly burns through under the center contact. Ususally the burn through creates a miss, then a no start situation. Bad plug wires often create a an electrical "backpressure" and eventually burn out the rotor and sometimes the cap and coil (mounted in the top of the cap) If the ignition looks good, you should check the valve train and timing to see if the backfire problem is valve train related. The shim situation is also key and the starter should be positioned so you are sure of the proper clearance to keep the gears fom binding or rounding off. One other possibility is the flywheel is cracked and sort of slaps the starter drive gear and breaks the housing. My bet is on the misfire, backfire. Don't balme the starters, just figure out what the REAL culprit is and you will get a long life from even a rebuilt. Good Luck!

Sounds like a lot of BS in the little catchy title of this proposal. I am not stupid or blind, nor do I believe most sportsmen are. No matter how it is packaged, Manure is never going to taste and smell like a steak. The AZGFD should note while considering this proposal, that the more restrictive and limited the hunting opportunities are percieved for the "Average Joe" .... the more poaching and illegal activities will probably take place by the people who cannot afford to participate in the sport legally. Unfortunate but I believe it is the way things will go.. As I understand, , the wildlife in the state belongs to the citizens of the state. The AZGFD is acting as a custodian of the public interests reguarding wildlife. While carrying out this task, they better look to the short term AND long term future before they pass some BS plan that favors the people who can pay more for the priviledge. Just another .02 worth to chew on! -
That figures. They choose un it 23! I have it on good authority, that there are no deer of any kind in unit 23!

You need to click on the ( IMAGE ) button when posting to add pictures to the site. Most everyone is emailing them to Amanda to control the web space used a little closer. Make sure the image is compressed.

Seems to me this was disected by someone who was good with image manipulation and he determined it was a hoax. If I recall correctly, the "image detective" said the negative image showed branches out of line an a pretty clear paste job on the lion. He thought the picture was a blend of 2 seperate photos from the same camera. Not trying to rain on the parade, but That is what I recall. -
Passed also! First time 73% without reading the training material. I got it pretty easily the next time after "training". Pretty good idea for Montana! AZ should do something similar to keep yahoo's from pointing guns at people...

Bass This bonehead needs an etiquette lesson. Fill his tent or backback with your trash and tell him that you assumed it was okay since he assumed it was okay to use your quad for his footrest. It is sad, but Some people are just plain ignorant.
