GMM Sorry to see you go. I know we have had a couple threads take off on a different, more political direction, however the vast majority of the threads and topics are related to hunting and Coues Deer. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better overall group of people in any forum, anywhere on the net. It is hard to get anything 100% and I welcome some variety. That said, it is your choice, and everyone is not going to agree with everyone else, but I for 1, do hope you would reconsider and stop back from time to time! Thanks for your input.

I saw onther open letter like that one that George Bush was taking the "blame" for the Hurricane and the Fed Response. I am planning for my Dec Hunt, and right now I think I am going to hold out for a nice buck! 100" is nice but one with big body and antler character. For many of us, the 100 inchers should be achieved this year with all the early success due to the large rainfall this year. Here's hoping you all get about 10 inches more antler than you wanted.

Whoa... now Casey back up the chuck wagon... Took me a few years to learn this secret, and I will share it with you Life is really pretty easy, It's the lessons we learn that are a Bear! I am a charter member of the Lessin lernin academy so I feel your pain. Any way, I got out my law book ( the world acording to dorf) and it says right here on page 125674 that most any judge might give you 5 years hard labor for whatever it was that you did. It also Sounds like most folks on the board will suspend that sentence and credit you for lesson learned. Kudos to ya dude! I did not know Norm but he sounds like the kind of guy we will all miss, whether we knew him or not. Folks like him are always giving, helping, mentoring, and doin whatever it takes to make things better for the next guy. It sounds like he got lots of joy out of experiencing things and sharing them with others. Rest In Peace Norm.

I seriously considered adding a brake to my 300 win mag, but many of my shots are from a prone position. The brake is LOUD and the gas charges out the ports so loose dirt and debris flys up everywhere too. It would be hard to take a 2nd shot if need be when you got sand in your eyes. I passed on the brake and put on a Pachmeyer recoil pad. my .02 worth

Hunting season is the best time to glass! I agree that AM and PM are best but I have often found deer midday as Ernesto said. Just stay out as long as you can, and glue the binoculars to your eyes, you will do better in Dec. 24a is a great unit. I will be in 24b just across the highway in Dec also. Good Luck!

Anyway you slice it; UDA (Un-documented Aliens) "Undocumented" is just a way to make people "feel" better but it is still ILLEGAL. Finally, I do not support a "Merger" with any country that cannot take care of it's own people. There are an estimated 11 million+ illegal immigrants in the US Right now with the majority being from mexico. Does not sound like thye are a good candidate for merger with anyone. Az is also estimated to be more than 50% hispanic in the next 10-15 years. Someting needs to be done besides granting amnesty or merging with the invader. Soapbox put away. Good night.
