I met a Guy at Lowes in Cheyenne who asked me what the COUESWHITETAIL.COM sticker was about on my truck. I have Had lots of looks and questions here in Wyoming as my truck is all over between Scottsbluff NE and Cheyenne, Wy hauling and buying home building materials. We just finished installing the trusses on the new ranch home today thanks to a lot of the building materials stores!

Heck, I think it is a good idea. I bet the money will go to habitat restoration or improvement or some other needed cause. Well maybe after they add staff to handle the increased paperwork and burrocracy. Give them the sticker program and it will be another piece of your freedom we will never get back.

I don't think anyone is complaining about a REASONABLE tag fee increase. 78% is not reasonable by any stretch of the department's imagination. It's all about stewardship of and for the game resources in the state. That is what it used to be.... Yeah right, they need new trucks yearly and they use gas, and the college degrees cost money and more people are needed to make bigger plans for more facilities and lobbyist payoffs. I don't think when the unit managers are forced to add the same statements to thier unit recommendations, that the department has more than $$ in mind.

I see the 1st one but all I see in the second one is an old GPS with chewed up buttons.

Good glassign and Determination for sure. He earned that buck!

Ouch is right.... AZGFD decisons to have Increases like this is one of the reasons the are chasing hunters out of AZ. I recall how they always drag their feet when considering fee increases for Non Residents and thought that was just wrong for residents. So I decided I might as well apply as a NR the next time.

I (and lots of others here) would hope to have a buck that nice in our binoculars, let alone get a shot and make the kill. Great Deal! Congratulations!

Well with lions you often have to take em where and when you see um. I read they travel a large distance for home range so Hope those dogs are good. Congrats on success.

They can't see very well and scrounge around all day in the hills for food and you go out and send them off to the big hormel plant in the sky.... Okay.. Jus kiddin you a bit brother... Them are some nice sized Javies... Cannot wait to see the Coues pics from your brother. Congratulations on the 100% success. God is good for sure and glad you all had a great hunt.

I guess that goes to show you we have pretty good instincts on our own. I have had a few of those type cases too! One year I lost a Camo insulated Glove while hunting, Then the next year I found it right in the spot I thought it was and just where I had looked for it but was previously unable to find it. I was surprised as I had nearly forgotten all about it. Strangest one was when I shot at the deer on the run, and he went down for a second but then disappeared. Then my brother in law shot this deer about a half mile away a few minutes later. when we got together and looked the deer over, we realized my shot had hit and broke off the g1 of the antler. The lead bullet impact was clear! We went back to the spot and after searching for a long time we were about to give up and my father in law bowed his head and prayed that God would help us find it. He opened his eyes and right at the tip of his boot was the antler piece in an open area that we had searched many times over.

Congratualtions to Rhonda. Great story and pictures! That is an awesome way to break into the Coues success family. It's amazing that she does not have a hair out of place and has the sharp polished nails showing in the picture too! She could Sell that photo to Revlon to use for advertisong to the womens hunting group! Y'know, if she told us that the nail polish was her good luck charm, I bet a few of us might be doing our nails before reaching our glassing spots. The accessory for every fashion consious hunter. The evolutionists always "conveniently" leave out the Theoretic part of their arguments. I get a real laugh out of the paleontologists (fossil freaks) who go out and dig up a bone or 2 and then "determine" with 1% of a complete skeleton what species, sex, age, size and color hide this critter had from 10 million years ago. Rembrant has it right in my opinion. The fact is, Even Darwin refuted and argued against his own theories later in life! Those promoting the evolution theory don't tell you that either.

I saw the CWT sponsor logo on the site also and was surprised. The chain link fence would look pretty good in a background or even on your mount if you ask me. Get Real!

I think The same rumor is out about every year at this time ain't it?

GET OUT AND VOTE! Protect Our Sport .
az4life replied to hossco's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
This should confirm it for anyone still holding out hope... The old AZ is gone. I really wish there was a mandatory IQ test before anyone was given a ballot to fill out. With people like Mr Nappy and now convicted and admitted political criminal Harry Mitchell being elected it is obvious that there are way too many idiots voting that just do not have a clue. I also see the dems got the min wage increase and annual adjustment passed too. That will sure help you AZ residents with your illegal mexican problems. Yeah right... Expect more taxes on those doing the work to support the masses of those on the government handout list. Also expect illegal immigrant AMNESTY to be given in the next 12 months. Stupid Americans have voted for it and now We all have to live with it. Don't forget the open negotiations with all the islamic fanatic terrorists. God help us but with Dems in power, forcing the likes of Rumsfeld out, we are likely going to have another major terrorist attack on US soil. Good luck to those of you still in AZ and the rest of us in the US. -
Wow. what a haul! Congratulations Every one of them deer is a keeper and the lion is just icing on the coues cake.
-
Congrats, great story, and a prime example of a hunt to remember. I would like to say he is in the high 90's but the mass just does not support it. Probably 90" + or - a bit... He's a keeper anyway!
-
That is a rare one for sure! Congrats on taking him as part of your original scouting plan!
