It surprises me that there is not a "lowjack" sort of deal for cameras. Ya know like a chip that tells you when the cam is on the move... Gotta be something pretty simple and relatively inexpensive. Compared to camera set up anyway. Where are all these stolen cameras going? Ebay? Park and swap? Pawn shops? We need to find a way to track them after the thefts.

Unbelievable stuff. I would take this to the bank in complaint form but NOT until I talk to an ambulance chaser. B of A got on my bad list about 15 years ago when they charged my account for stuff that was not mine, missed a deposit and then kept sending me statements and bills for delinquency and filing negatives on my credit report. Even after I proved to them and they said the negatives would be removed, they added them again shortly after removing them. Found out about it 2 years later when I went to buy a house. Fortunately I had saved a truckload of documentation and it only took a 30 minute visit and a promise of court action. All I have to say is document everything. Write it down NOW if it is conversations and take names and dates of the people who would not help.

Well another independent study shows the "real" cause of global warming... CLEANER SKIES LEAD TO WARMING Global Warming Study An article from the New Scientists says that cleaner skies have actually contributed to at least half of the warming that has occurred in Europe since 1980. The way it works is that the cleaner the skies, the more the sun's rays can pierce the atmosphere, which causes more warming of the earth. In Europe, the temperature has risen one degree Celsius since 1980. Scientists at the Institute for Atmospheric and Climate Science in Switzerland took aerosol concentrations from six locations in northern Europe and compared them with solar-radiation measurements over the same period. And guess what they found? Aerosol concentrations dropped by up to 60% while solar radiation rose by about 1 watt per square meter. Rolf Philipona, a co-author of the study at MeteoSwiss, Switzerland's national weather service says, "The decrease in aerosols probably accounts for at least half of the warming over Europe in the last 30 years." Well .. I guess that proves that some global warming is man-made. We're working too hard to clean up the atmosphere. Who knew?
