It's a rifle I put together on a Savage 110 action. I was using Shooter on my iPhone.

I love the suppressor. I have done some load development with 2 powders and settled on 41 grains of H4350 under 140 Matchkings at .002" off the lands and WLR primers. I am now working on my hunting load with 120 grain Barnes TTSX's. I found a promising powder charge and will be back at the range tomorrow to test different seating depths. I need to get it dialed in and confirm drops before my whitetail hunt in November. It weighs in @ 12lbs 8oz without the suppressor and 13lbs 7oz with it.

My stock finally arrived yesterday and I got busy putting it together. It started life as a 7mm mag that I bought on Gunbroker for 200 bucks and shot 3" groups at 50 yards. Oh well, I bought it for a donor anyway. Hope to wack a white tail with it come November. Savage 110 action PT&G bolt head Criterion 24" varmint contour 1-8 twist NSS precision barrel nut and .250 lug McMillan A3 in coffee camo Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 EGW practical rings and 20 MOA base YHM 7.62 QD Ti Phantom A big thanks to Tim at N.O.S. and Jim at Northland. Both super nice guys and a pleasure to do business with. Took it to the range for a shakedown. Starting load of 39gr of IMR 4350, 140gr SMK's in necked up 243 brass. After I got it sighted in I did a 6 shot group(lost track) and a 3 shot group with the suppressor. Six shot......yanked the 4th one. 3 shot suppressed. Next is load development, confirm drops and stretch her out.

I think you should keep your hi-priced powder on backpage with all the other crooks.

I got the bolt handle on ebay. It took 4 months to get the barrel.

WTB - custom stock... cant find a premade for my gun
Kingzero replied to Brian27's topic in Classified Ads
It is a long action if it is a 110. Back in the day, all Savages were built on long actions and had different mags to accommodate large, small and magnum rounds. To order a stock for a Savage, you have to know a few things... -To make sure its a long action, you need to measure the "center-center" distance of the action screws. It should be right at 5". -Barrel contour. Is it a sporter, varmint or bull? If the diameter of the muzzle is close to 1/2" than it is a sporter. -Mag style. Savage used a staggered feed mag in the beginning but switched to a center feed mag when they made a change to the rear of the action. An easy way to tell is by looking at the back of the action where your rear scope base is attached. If its flat, its a staggered feed. If its round, its a center feed. Also, is it a blind/internal mag or detachable mag. Let me know and I can post some links to some stocks that will fit. Are you wanting a factory Tupperware stock, wood or a higher end composite? I have a factory stock from my Savage build that is for a long action, blind mag, staggered feed sporter barrel. If it will fit, you are welcome to it. Let me know.
