Where are you located and do you know the year?

Tikka T3 in 30-06, 270, 7mag or 300mag.

Any idea on what bullet you want to use? I shoot 150gr Barnes TTSX over 68gr of Retumbo in my Tikka. Those TTSX's will put the hurt on an animal.

I shoot 140 Amax's with 41.5gr of H4350 going 2750fps in a 24" 8 twist barrel.......not super fast but dang accurate.

What made you settle on that particular load? Did it group good during load development but change when you tried sighting it in? Who did the brake and what type of crown? Did you clean it really good after the brake was installed? Is the brake tight and how many rounds through it?........Dirty crown? How confident are you on the sled? Have you had someone else shoot it to see what happens?

Just left Sportsmans Mesa and they had a bunch of H4350, Retumbo, RL 15 and 17.

I shoot a Superlite in 7 mag and recoil isn't bad at all. I put on a Limbsaver and enjoy shooting it. After 20+ rounds during load development my shoulder was a little sore but I don't plan on shooting at an animal that many times. Plus.....recoil has a tendancy to disappear when there is an animal in the crosshairs.

I have a 24" x 42" x 5/16" thick piece of AR 600 steel. Harder than AR500 and will last forever. It took my 7mag at 100 yards no problem.
