Scope Mounts and bipod suggestions, please!
lancetkenyon replied to cohntr6's topic in Long Range Shooting
All of my personal rifles use Seekins rings. Hard to beat Harris bipods for price and quality. -
Again? 6 year old thread....3+ years since last post. Let it die an honorable death.

Buck Officially Scored 200 0/8" gross 197 4/8" net
lancetkenyon replied to bonecollector777's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
I have received about 10 messages from guys claiming they were chasing it. Problem was only two people were within the right area for it to be this buck. I had stories spread from over by Clints well, all across the rim, all the way to showlow. So apparently theres 8 other 200 inch typicals out there somewhere ... -

lancetkenyon replied to bonecollector777's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
You'll all hate me due to the fact I had no clue he existed until I saw him yesterday haha. Have had three guys message me saying they have been chasing him the last week right there. In 3c... -

Help me decide on a new lightweight stock for my 700
lancetkenyon replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
Dropped right in, but I did go ahead and bed it anyway. -
Fluting the barrel will shave 4-8 oz off depending on style, depth, # if flutes, etc. There are other ways to shave weight off that rifle as well. But they all cost $$. Alloy bolt shroud -2oz Cut off bolt knob and install CF knob -2oz Flute bolt body -1oz TI firing pin -.25oz Alloy Picatinny rail (if that is steel now) -2 to 3oz Different stock (looks like an HS Precision on there) -10 to 16oz w. Manners or McMillan Edge TI brake -1oz Proof Research barrel -8 to 16oz

lancetkenyon replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
I know you didn't mention it, but Manner EH series are fantastic and light. My EH1 & EH2 both weigh 26oz on the dot. Stiff, light, and look amazing. I also have a Edge Game Scout that weighs 29oz. Great fit, great quality. But both are more scratch than B&C. -
Time in the field is better than time behind a desk. Either one could net you a nice buck, or tag soup. Good luck in the draw.

Just because someone's name is not on this list does not exclude them from being a good seller or buyer.

Great glass! I have hundreds of hours behind mine.

About 4 to 8 oz. a little more if they are spiral flutes. A bolt fluting job only removes about 1 to 2 oz. Ounces cost $100 s Exactly.

AxisWorks does.

I have a brand new unfired R700 Sendero in .300RUM sitting in my safe now! My cousin has one too.
