I have shot behind 8 different Swaros, Z5, Z6, and X5. Great scopes, great glass. I have also shot behind a couple VX-5HD, VX-5, and one VX-6HD. I also have another one sitting in my safe as we speak waiting to get sighted in. Great glass too. I just personally have an issue with Leupold's past record with tracking. If it were me, I would look at something with at least enough elevation adjustment to get you out to 1000. Which would he about 25-28 MOA. If I remember correctly, the Z6 is only a single turn turret. The Z5 has 58 MOA of elevation, so you should have about 25-29MOA with a zero MOA mount.

Would like to sale this very rare deer mule mount
lancetkenyon replied to Rebel76's topic in Classified Ads
It is rare because this deer mule has all of the characteristics of a tail white? And apparently, shot it Yoda did....when a young padawan he was. On a side note, I picked up this shed from a deer cow yesterday. -

Good Lord....What Is Wrong With ME???
lancetkenyon replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have had this rifle.out several.times to stretch it's legs. From 545 to 1251, it is amazing. Out at 1435, that is about the limits of where it is real consistent. Even small breezes start to really push the 105s around and open up groups to about 8" (I didn't hike up to measure that group). Still accurate enough to shoot at coyotes though. 5 shots @ 851 went into a 2" group Bring on an antelope tag! -
Anyone have any Rem700 safeties laying around?
lancetkenyon replied to Cahunter805's topic in Classified Ads
I have a complete trigger assembly (not an X mark) from an older R700. Safety included, but not the locking bolt kind. -
I think this would fit on a custom 6mm very well...….

This rifle shoots very well.

I have 10x42s, 15x56s, and a 20-70×82 spotter. No joke, thousands of hours behind them.

Can we get hoodies made????

Hoodie and LS Tee ordered! -
That is why I asked for the info. It is a little offputting to see a rifle on sale for $5k with no info listed. Especially with the gross misrepresentation of another rifle in a separate post asking $3500 for a $1200-1500 set up (at new prices). Just because a stock factory rifle was bought from a custom gunsmith does not make it a "Western Precision" rifle. I have shot a couple Western Precision full custom rifles. And I know what was paid for them. They shot very well, and were very well put together.

With a custom TI action, carbon barrel, McMillan Carbon stock, Bix N Andy trigger, DBM w. Mags, Seekins rail, ARC M10 rings, and S&B scope maybe. But not an R700 action, HS Precision stock, and a Leupold VX-3.

Updated my questions above with the two known facts I have gleaned from the photo and ballistic app screenshot. R700 LA 1:10" twist
