I actually agree 100% with the quoted post here. -
A3 Golden Boy Jed Larson Convicted of Poaching
lancetkenyon replied to NoBull350's topic in The Campfire
You asked numerous people if they thought the guide should be fired wanting a "yes" answer from them. When I agree with you, and give you the answer you so desired, you say no one cares what I think? I appreciate you starting the post to bring this issue to light, and the results. Unfortunately, the outcome was far more lenient yet again than they should have been. Again, I agree with you on that. If I was the client, I would be pursuing legal action with A3 for multiple reasons. I have heard a lot of stories about numerous guide services that are less than legal. My question is that you seem to think what is injust for one poacher with a single offense here, is not for another poacher with a multitude of offenses? Why is that? If we need to start another thread to discuss the issue of too light of penalties, reduced or dropped charges, and post court documents, let me know. Because I have Blake Owens' court docs I could post up too, in order for a comparison. -

I think A3 should fire the guide. I think he got off too light. I think Blake should be in jail. I think NoBull calling this out is hilarious, and one of the biggest hypocritical threads I have ever seen.- 587 replies

Opposite. As long as they fit in the mag.

I never, EVER, worry about COAL unless it is very close to max mag length. I only measure CBTO. If those are ELDs or V-max, I have found big variations in bullet BTO in the same box. Drives me nuts. But as long as your CBTO is within .001" like your loaded rounds show, I wouldn't worry about it in the cartridge it looks like you are loading and light for caliber flat base bullets. Doesn't seem like those are LR rounds, so out to 500ish, you probably won't see enough of a difference unless you are shooting F-class/benchrest. But again, the round doesn't look like that is the case.

You better be able to get a truck to it. They are not a 1 person moving job.

Our guest bath has one too. Old, no feet, up on railroad ties, porcelain is in great shape. Galvanized sheet metal walls, galvanized surface mounted pipes too. Let me guess....Edge wants a photo or I am a "lying dog faced pony soldier"?

I have an OLD antique claw foot (missing the feet) cast iron porcelain lined (chipped to heck, but not shot up) bathtub I found in the middle of the desert years ago. It is now a planter in my front yard.

Been closed since 3-21-20. Sucks. I am usually there 3 weeks a month minimum. To be honest, I think it is stupid. The benches are about 8-10' apart, plenty of room to distance yourselves, no physical interaction with staff/volunteers.

That is exactly what she said!

Oh good Lord! My wife wants both!!! That would make 6 big boys. I told her no way.

All were "suggestions". No "directives" or "mandates". Nothing enforceable.

Good price for a hard to find amazing powder.

While I get the principle of the transaction, you still only paid $.117/ea. Even for mixed headstamp .223, that is a smoking deal.

8lbs? I would take it. Lots of reloading going on right now.

If you choose to go buy take out food, please support local small businesses. They will be very hard hit with this.

Had to run back to Sportsman's for some rifle cleaning supplies, and asked my wife, "Do you think we should buy another gun? Maybe an AR pistol for home protection?" She said, "How much ammo will you need to buy with it?" I said, "None, I have 4500 rounds of reloads for my AR already." She said, "OK. Buy one." SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MY VOICE OF REASON! I can't decide if she passed, or failed the test? No, I didn't buy one.

Looks like a shooter to me....but I have NEVER been on a sheep hunt.

Took these yesterday. It is a buck I have seen 4 times in the past month. I am very surprised he is still alive. Mean wound that is healing on his front left shoulder, but badly broken shoulder that is just flopping around. I doubt he will survive the lions up there over the summer and make it to next fall.

lancetkenyon replied to codyhuntsaz's topic in Classified Ads
That 751 group is more like 2.25", or .281MOA. Here is a reference photo. About what the spacing of my fingers was. Checked with my knife.- 20 replies

I will verify, thos rifle is an absolute tack driver. I think the loads are a 210 HVLD @ 2960fps w. H1000. These were at 550ish. Shot bottom single, dialed up and shot the next three on red dot. Moved back to 751 if I remember correctly. Put three shots into about a 2.25" group with L-R winds.- 20 replies
