Honest seller. I will vouch for him.

Brunos had H1000 1# cans earlier this week. Looks like they are out now though. H1000 is starting to come back, but you have to be quick when it arrives. I grabbed an 8#er last week from Brunos.

Hammer hunter in 6.5 WSM
lancetkenyon replied to Red Rabbit's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Should be doable. I run the 131 Hammers in my 6.5SS and get 3260 easily with RL23. Had 3321 before I hit pressure in my 26" 1:7.5". I also run the 121 Hammers in my 25SST, and got 3360 in a 26" 1:7.5" w. H1000. I settled on 3260 for accuracy and best ES. You should get just a bit more speed in the WSM case if you have a 26" barrel. -

Defiance Machine -- Controlled Round Feed
lancetkenyon replied to sjvcon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
ARC Nucleus. I also have a Bighorn TL3 in there too. THAT is an amazing action. If you don't mind a push feed, the Kelbly Atlas is seriously on of my favorite actions out right now. -

I have an ARC in my safe right now. Very smooth action. I have shot two different Montanas. Not impressed with them at all. Not smooth. -

I am not accusing anyone of poaching that bull. But I do hope AZGFD finds the culprit, whoever it was, and throws the book at them. -
A3 Golden Boy Jed Larson Convicted of Poaching
lancetkenyon replied to NoBull350's topic in The Campfire
Jed was charged and convicted on the illegal take of one bull elk. Not saying it might not be his only offense. In fact, I highly doubt it. I think the penalties were way too light. As do most, if not all others do as well. Including NoBull350, with whom I agree with on this case. The reason people keep bringing up Blake, is NoBull350 shows no understanding of the severity of Blake's actions. He was the most staunch supporter and defender of Blake, even after the charges were filed and the rulings handed down. Constantly defending Blake, minimalizing the charges and offenses, disallowing the numerous other charges that were dropped, and flat out either lying or blatantly avoiding the truth. Then, laughing about it and flaunting it in the hunting community's faces. Blake was charged and convicted of the illegal take/possession of 4 deer, a bear, a coati, theft of property, and two counts of fraud. I think that is 600% worse. Then, he bragged about one of the illegally taken deer all over the place, took prizes, etc. Which I think were the "fraud" charges. There are other certain "coincidences" of live photos of animals, who ended up poached very shortly after, that were posted. Not saying there is a connection, but sure is suspicious in my opinion. But...."no one cares what I think".- 587 replies

I drove the dinosaur track trail up in Moab years ago. Pretty cool.

I had the same thing happen with a box of 7mm 177 Hammer Hunters. I turned a 28 Nosler into a 30 Nosler with a .308" 212 Hammer Hunter that was mixed in the box. Sure seemed to seat a bit harder than the others....

You asked numerous people if they thought the guide should be fired wanting a "yes" answer from them. When I agree with you, and give you the answer you so desired, you say no one cares what I think? I appreciate you starting the post to bring this issue to light, and the results. Unfortunately, the outcome was far more lenient yet again than they should have been. Again, I agree with you on that. If I was the client, I would be pursuing legal action with A3 for multiple reasons. I have heard a lot of stories about numerous guide services that are less than legal. My question is that you seem to think what is injust for one poacher with a single offense here, is not for another poacher with a multitude of offenses? Why is that? If we need to start another thread to discuss the issue of too light of penalties, reduced or dropped charges, and post court documents, let me know. Because I have Blake Owens' court docs I could post up too, in order for a comparison. -

I think A3 should fire the guide. I think he got off too light. I think Blake should be in jail. I think NoBull calling this out is hilarious, and one of the biggest hypocritical threads I have ever seen.- 587 replies

Opposite. As long as they fit in the mag.

I never, EVER, worry about COAL unless it is very close to max mag length. I only measure CBTO. If those are ELDs or V-max, I have found big variations in bullet BTO in the same box. Drives me nuts. But as long as your CBTO is within .001" like your loaded rounds show, I wouldn't worry about it in the cartridge it looks like you are loading and light for caliber flat base bullets. Doesn't seem like those are LR rounds, so out to 500ish, you probably won't see enough of a difference unless you are shooting F-class/benchrest. But again, the round doesn't look like that is the case.

Our guest bath has one too. Old, no feet, up on railroad ties, porcelain is in great shape. Galvanized sheet metal walls, galvanized surface mounted pipes too. Let me guess....Edge wants a photo or I am a "lying dog faced pony soldier"?

I have an OLD antique claw foot (missing the feet) cast iron porcelain lined (chipped to heck, but not shot up) bathtub I found in the middle of the desert years ago. It is now a planter in my front yard.

Been closed since 3-21-20. Sucks. I am usually there 3 weeks a month minimum. To be honest, I think it is stupid. The benches are about 8-10' apart, plenty of room to distance yourselves, no physical interaction with staff/volunteers.
