I have an Eberlestock XL that can fit a pair of 15s in I will sell cheap. Super comfortable bino chest rig. Just too big for my 10x42s. The only size they had available in a pinch when my previous harness broke the day before a hunt.

I remember hearing this story a while ago. Crazy.

Cover for Suppressors?
lancetkenyon replied to SO I HUNT's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
"Tacticool" poses for your enjoyment... They mitigate mirage, make handling one after 3-4 shots possible, they protect the suppressor. I was shooting a suppressed .300WM without a cover today. After 2 shots, mirage was noticeable, after the third, mirage was definitely causing the target image to waver a lot. I have shot other times, 5-6 shots with a cover before mirage started to effect sight picture. -

I use the Armageddon Gear covers on my suppressors. Great stuff. -
That is why I carry at least 2 arrows with rubber blunts on them....

I can and will vouch for Wade being a great guy. I am the one who sent him the link, here and by text. I have dealt with him before.

Kenny, count me in for $100.

I will take the .300PRC dies.

Not necessarily, but a possibility. The charcoal bull I saw from March to December, numerous times a year for 3 years in a row. Always the same color. In the full on snow/frozen to heat of the summer.

I saw a charcoal bull like that for 3 years in a row in 7W. Don't mind that monster in the middle...

Input wanted - Hunting with a 10 year old
lancetkenyon replied to Elkchaser's topic in Youth Hunters
I hope you have that problem too. So proud to tell those stories. -
S&B PMII 5-25×56 DT (Dual Turn) CW (Clockwise) turrets. What reticle? Looks like TPS steel rings? What height? Decent price for a fantastic scope. If you haven't looked through a S&B, don't. It will ruin your other scopes.

Did I screw up? ... brass cleaning

No joke, I always have a pitcher of Koolaid in my fridge. Always have a Hydro filled with it too. Less sugar than soda. Also, no joke, my nickname to my granddaughter is "Papa Koolaid". Every time I see her, first thing she does is give me a big hug, second thing she does is asks me for a drink of my Koolaid. -
Input wanted - Hunting with a 10 year old
lancetkenyon replied to Elkchaser's topic in Youth Hunters
Both my girls have been hunting since they were 10. The best times I have had in the field are with them.....until they shoot animals bigger than you ever have in 40 years of hunting.... -
Good price. I have one on my G19x, and a TLR-7 on my G19. The G is the way to go, daylight bright, very easy to see.
-
That would "technically" qualify in some state's "spike only" requirement hunts. "Any single non-branching antler from a separate pedicle".
-
I have a Premier Heritage Light Tactical 3-15×50 Gen 2XR non-illuminated I might be convinced to let go of.....but probably out of your BILs price range too. Think Tangent Theta's older brother.

If you were up in Phx, I would trade 1000 CCI450 for the Fed GM215M.
-
I have shipped several scopes. I always tell them it is a "precision optical tool" or "telescope". I had the same issue with FedEx once in Scottsdale. Went to my local store, and no issues.

I know a guy who bought 12x42 NLs, and swears they are better than his 12x50 ELs.

Great Dove season so far

Beautiful day. Slow, but still bagged almost a limit, plus 7 Eurasians. Left around 9:00am, and barely broke a sweat. Family time was fun.
