    IMR 4350

If you need the powder, better plan a trip to Cabela's soon. SpotNStalk is legit. I have bought stuff from him multiple times.

    Big eye comparison

35x. I did not get the doubler. The 35x is PLENTY. This is at 880+ yards 3.1 miles, clearer to the eye than the photo shows

    Bruno’s has lots of powder.

A big shipment. Going fast for the good stuff.

I had a Meopta S2 20-70×82 HD for years. Great glass. But the BTX...

    Black bear v hog

I know nature is brutal, but I was kind of rooting for the hog. Once the bear left, I would have walked over and popped that pig to put it down.

6.5 prc seating 156 eol problem

Do the stems have a part # on them? I can pull mine apart and get you the # if so. Also, maybe lessen neck tension a bit, and chamfer the inside of the neck with a VLD chamfer tool to help seat a bit easier.

6.5 prc seating 156 eol problem

I swapped my seating stem back and forth between my Hornady 6.5PRC and 6.5CM dies. I have one that fits the 156 EOL, 140 Hyb, 144 LR Hyb, and 130 OTM perfectly. Did you check the die box for another seating stem? They usually come with two. Under the piece of grey foam, top right corner of the die box.

    Unit 12?

I have seen pronghorn in 12b. Not often though. But, I don't get to 12b often either. Worth a shot for 5 BPs. I am sitting on 27 now. So even if you burn 5 BPs, beats waiting another 20 years.

    Unit 23n early hunt outfitter

When I draw a 23N tag, this is who I am calling. Of course, we might both be too old to hunt by then!

I am extremely happy with my BTX/95mm body.

    Bruno’s has lots of powder.

They buy from other distributors and dealers. Meaning their cost is higher. Of course they are going to make a profit. But at least there is stuff locally. Everywhere else is higher too. Plus, pay shipping and Hazmat, and be limited to 2# per order.....do the math. It adds up in our favor to continue to buy locally. How much did you "stock up"? I shoot too much to maintain more than MAYBE 2 years worth of components for some of my rifles.

    I don't think Bruno's carries Hornady ammo.

    Bruno’s has lots of powder.

Brunos buys from other suppliers, so they can keep stuff rolling in and out to the locals. That is why the 1#ers are $60. Was just there. H4350, H1000, H4831, LOTS of others. Plus, a bunch of 8# RL23 & N565 and lots of others.

    Missing Bonus Points

If I lose my 27BPs for pronghorn, someone at GFD is losing their scalp.

Horse Rental by the Verde off Beeline

There is a trailride outfit at the Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, but I don't think they let you go off solo. I happen to be working on Stewart Dam right now, and pass the place twice a day. They do have two female wranglers that are quite easy on the eyes working there, so you might just want to tag along and follow their lead...

    RL 23

Pretty fast burn rate. Faster than H1000 by a bit. Would be better suited for the lighter bullets. 160s might scream with it. In 35+ 28N rifles, I have only used: H1000 (w. 175s), Retumbo, IMR8133, N570, RL33 (w. 180-195s).

New 15s.... looking for some input

OK, I have had the Meopta Meostar 15x56s for years. I am super happy with them. Thousands of hours behind them over the years. Well, last year, I finally broke down and bought a set of Swaro SLC 15x56 Neu HD. On a late season elk hunt, my son-in-law was using my Meopta, and I was using the new Swaros. Bright light, not a big difference at all. Outer edge is about the only difference. The Meoptas fisheye just a hair, but not a big deal. Well, after sunset, glassing into the sun on opening evening, I glassed up 3 bulls about 2 miles away, sun set behind the hill we were glassing. Meoptas showed a big black hill. The Swaros could pick out elk easily in the last 15 minutes of legal light. So, the Swaros will probably get you 20-30 more minutes of hunting light (10-15 AM, 10-15 PM). Only you can decide if those 20 minutes are worth $800-1000 more. On a side note, I found the same dark issue with my Meopta Meostar S2 20-70×82 spotter too. That upgrade cost me an arm and a leg....BTX...
