With this rifle, there is no need to pack it out a few miles. Just shoot from near the truck!!! Any Coues within 2 miles is not safe.

If the info is correct on the OP's header, looks like he is in Scottsdale. But lately, a few folks have moved without changing the location section. So who knows.

Reminds me of the movie "The Birds". Wow. -
You snooze, you lose. It was pretty good for a bit too. But...the most important part of the thread is the well-earned deer posted on page 1 at the top. PM sent.

We have had that section for many years.....It's called Conservation group events....we also have one called Wildlife Projects so when groups have projects they can post about it to boost interest and inform people. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/forum/42-conservation-group-events/ http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/forum/19-wildlife-projects/ Email sent. And I went and looked at the sections you copied. Looks like they are pretty slow, so new posts would help bring them to the top of the "new post" list and might keep them more active.

That is GREAT dog! My younger dog gets antlers too.

What would be GREAT, is if we had a section, or a sticky in each section, dedicated to events like the AES meetings and banquets. If there is one already, maybe members could bump them so they show up on the "new posts" when everyone checks. I would love to attend some of the meetings if I had some advanced notice. Seems like I only make one or two meetings/events per year.

Good price for a great head. If I did not already have 2 Manfrotto heads, I would be all over this.

What units have you scouted and seen a lot of antelope? I would put in for one I knew held goats.

bunch of funny guys. Well, this thread was pretty worthless. Trphyhntr, I was being dead serious. I work with a lot of different Public Safety/LE departments, and DHS & BP a lot. All over the country. Believe it or not, BP has a strong presence on the northern border too. And half of who they catch are from SOUTH of the US border. If you ask an honest question, I will give an honest answer. But I do make jokes a lot too. I was in Alaska this past summer, and I bet there were some up that far. -
Vortex. For 15s, you need the one with the Allen head. For 10s, you can use the one with the knurled finger knob. I keep them attached to various optics, and add a Manfrotto base plate to each. It makes swapping optics very quick and easy, like 10 seconds.

Washington State and Maine. Seriously. -
My my lion tag doesn't say any MATURE my lion, its like saying it is illegal to kill a spike, totally legal just frowned upon. Look at the regs for what a "legal" lion is. "Any lion except spotted kittens or females accompanied by spotted kittens". Not just frowned upon, but in fact illegal.

Tenderloins are easy too. After you remove the back strap, find the last rib and cut just behind it. Cut along the underside of the spine and the tenderloins come right out.- 17 replies

I love my carbon fiber Manfrotto. It does not fit "in" my pack, but straps on just fine, lightweight, and sturdy as heck. From sitting on the ground to standing, it easily holds my 15s. But you have to buy a separate head, either a pan or ball head. I prefer pan heads myself. So it can get kind of pricey.
