This is my opinion. and yours may vary. If my boss asked for something by close of business, I sure as heck would not wait until 4:59 to turn it in. If I tell a person to meet me on a site at 6:00AM, they better not be late. If one of my customers wants to meet at 7:00, I am there by 6:30 at least, and I allow a lot of time for unforeseen issues that often arise. "Why does poor planning on your part constitute an emergency on mine?" should be G&F's response. There is absolutely no reason to wait until the last hour to put in for a draw. If you miss out, you should not go hunting. Someone stated that people are used to mediocrity. That is their fault. G&F should honor the hard deadline set forth in writing, which is a reward to those who get their application in on time, and a penalty to those who don't.

Here are a few photos of the two remaining scopes. The 3-9x40 Vortex Diamondback and the 3-12x42 Nikon M223. These were not safe queens. They were used for hunting, but work perfectly. Glass is scratch free, and mechanically perfect. 3-9x40 Vortex Diamondback 3-12x42 Nikon M223

You too. Here are some photos of your new scope to drool over....

Think of it as a friendly reminder to buy your archery tag and add another 8 weeks of hunting to your year. And if you don't shoot a bow, think of it as incentive to take up archery, and add 8 weeks of hunting to your year. Cup is half full.....

Vortex 12x50HD Razors and Leica 1600B. PICS ADDED
lancetkenyon replied to huntjunkie's topic in Classified Ads
Great pricing! I love my Leica 1600B. I can range out past 1840 yards with mine, non-reflective targets too. -
Which one? Shea (CouesPursuit) texted me 5 minutes after I posted this on the 3-9. He has first dibs on it for now.

I could not agree more with the post above. 300 mm scope tube would be a little big for a sporter model. A 30 mm tube would be fine though in my opinion.

I have some resized .270 Win brass that has been necked down to .257 if you want them. I was going to fire form them for my .25-06 Ackley, but finally found some of my preferred brand. Let me know, you can have them.

I've got a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x50 w. 30mmtube and BDC reticle. Comes with a set of Leupold rings, and I can add either a Redfield Rem 700SA, Leupold Rem 700 LA, or Leupold Mauser 98 1 piece base if any of those work. $450.

I have a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x50 with the BDC reticle. It was on my .250 Ackley, and I made a shot on a 1326 yard coyote with it last January. Plenty of scope for 1000+, but on 4X, I can hit bunnies running at 30 yards too.
