My .22-250 loved the #1410 52 gr. HPBT SMK. But what are you calling "long range"?

Nice. I like the way he leans into it once he gets rolling.

I think it just highlights the exceptional ones. The known good guys for people who might not know this group, or be new here. I have had one bad experience from another member. But I guarantee he won't be getting on this list, because I saw other issues with him on this forum after my dealing with him. I have had people specifically ask me about other members, and if they had a list to look into for their own peace of mind, it might make sending someone unknown to you money with more confidence. We all know there are a lot of sales transactions through this site, and some of them for big money/big items changing hands through the internet/shipping companies, and not always able to meet face-to-face. Nice to know if you are dealing with someone who is reputable by other's transactions with them.

Sent you a text.

I agree with find the wet/soft spot and start digging. Also, you should have a fairly straight path from your shutoff at the street to where it enters the house, usually at the front hose bib. But not always, depending on your house. Mine actually goes around and comes in at the rear of the house. Not normal though. Where are you located?

Good call. I emailed Amanda, as her inbox is full and cannot accept PMs right now. Thanks.

How about if the OP is worried about a possible encounter, the OP can opt to stay out of the woods.....just saying. -
Between my buddy and I we have 13 mounts completed by Chris Krueger and none of them took longer than a year to get back.Congrats on your bull. Its always a long wait, but end the end, you have the best type of artwork money can buy. Chris Krueger has done my last 4 pieces (plus one currently there). It was about 13 months for my last deer. The longest any of them took. His work is amazing. But 2.5 years is crazy talk. I am sorry for his health issues, but no way.I do agree it is a great bull. Congrats. And your wife would HATE my house..... he had a turkey done for me in about 13 months , bear 2 years and badger 2years. Two of my friends had turkey in his shop a year ahead of mine and they got theirs 5 to 6 months after mine. I cant complain about his work, but dont tell people 12 months and take 24. I could not agree more with this statement. "but don't tell people 12 months and take 24." I have never had this happen to me though. I do know rugs take quite a bit longer though. His wife does the rug work, and from what I have seen, they are top notch.

My Dad has an old Marlin 1893 from 1895 lever action in .32-40 black powder. It sure is fun to shoot.

I think most neck down and then trim & fire form from .30-30 brass. You will probably need a intermediate die, as .30 to .25 is a big jump. RCBS makes sizing dies I believe. Too bad he is not good with other male dogs, or I would take him in a heartbeat. Good luck with the search for a new home. That is a beautiful animal. -

I just asked my wife if I could buy a pair of used binos and she said, and I quote, "Ye......wait. How much are they?" When I showed her the price, she almost smacked me off my bar stool just now. Then said, and I quote, "You're an idiot." and walked away. Does that mean yes? She didn't say no....

Since I don't drink, and I am not all highfalutin', what is "cocktail attire", seriously? I have seen some boozers on Van Buren drinking from a paper bag, but I am sure that is not what you mean..... -
be right back, people are disappointed with a 350" bull now thanks to the internet Awesome!!! They can pass a 350" bull all day long, and I would come right behind those hunters and take the bull. I am not too proud for their "hand-me-downs".

15x56 over 20x binos for sure. But a great pair of 10x42s will find more game than a decent pair of 15s. I use my 10x42s for 90% of my glassing. I break out the 15s when I find something that needs to be looked at better, or when glassing at 1 mile+.

I am in the top 3....

How long is powder good for?
lancetkenyon replied to joelpresmyk8's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I had some powder from my Dad that I remember sitting in his gun cabinet when I was a kid (25-30 years?). Loaded some up with it and it all went "bang". -
My hat is off to you sir. In all honesty, it is one of the highest callings you can answer. I do not know if you are a praying man or a Christian, but God will smile upon you in these trying times. While I am not a preacher, adoption always pulls at my heart strings. Read Job chapter 29, verse 12. I hope you are not offended by this post. 1 Job continued his discourse: 2 "How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me, 3 when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness. 4 Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God's intimate friendship blessed my house, 5 when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me, 6 when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil. 7 "When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square, 8 the young men saw me and stepped aside and the old men rose to their feet; 9 the chief men refrained from speaking and covered their mouths with their hands; 10 the voices of the nobles were hushed, and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths. 11 Whoever heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me commended me, 12 because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist him. 13 The man who was dying blessed me; I made the widow's heart sing. 14 I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban. 15 I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. 16 I was a father to the needy; I took up the case of the stranger. 17 I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth. 18 "I thought, 'I will die in my own house, my days as numerous as the grains of sand. 19 My roots will reach to the water, and the dew will lie all night on my branches. 20 My glory will remain fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand.' 21 "Men listened to me expectantly, waiting in silence for my counsel. 22 After I had spoken, they spoke no more; my words fell gently on their ears. 23 They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain. 24 When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them. 25 I chose the way for them and sat as their chief; I dwelt as a king among his troops; I was like one who comforts mourners.
