Epic day of dove hunting. Most fun I have had hunting doves in 20 years. Saw some members out there in the field too. Shot a bunch of grey rockets. If Eurasians counted into the limit, I would have been done by 6:15. Luckily, they don't, so I wasn't.

If you are that disgruntled, give the tag to an organization that would love to have it. Call AZGFD and ask them where you can donate it.

Dang, those are old.....Have you had them rebuilt yet? Nope. I got them as takeoffs from another F250, and they still work great.

3-4 hours morning and evening is not enough, especially over 2 and a half days. I have sat a treestand from an hour before sunup until well after dark for 7 days waiting on a specific buck to show....which he did....and I missed.....

Great info. I was always paranoid about smoke smell.

The Lohman calls work great for Gambel's quail. When you blow them, say "Chi-qui-ta" like the banana.

I don't use scent free clothing. But I wear clean clothes every day, and shower/wash every day too. Also, when hiking, I step in every fresh pellet I pass. I also use scent spray on my hat band and boots each evening. I hate campfires or smoke when on a hunt. To me, and I'm probably over thinking this, but smoke smell is a smell of danger to game. From hunter's camps to forest fires. Smoke=danger.

I wear camo so other HUNTERS don't see me and my spots. But I mostly wear brown or green pants with a camo shirt.
