Pure sexy.

I think he is out of Bisbee, AZ? I have heard of him, but no range reports on any of his rifles.

Usually the high end rings do not require lapping. Seekins, Badger Ordinance, American Rifle Co., etc. All I use are Seekins and Badger. Never, ever, had an issue with ring marks, scope damage or scope slip with them using proper torque. I use 2 different methods. I use the Wheeler levels (1 goes in the action on the bolt raceways, one on the top of the turret. I also use the playing card trick. Stack playing cards on top of your Picatinny rail, under the turret bell. Just enough for the scope to sit fairly tightly in the rings with the top straps finger tight. This helps keep the scope body level with the rail. As long as your reticle is not wanted in the scope, this really helps. Then, tighten the cap screws in a star pattern, like a truck tire. Start with 1/8 turn each, then finger tighten the next screw and continue the star pattern. Once they are all snugged, continue the star pattern with 1/8 turn until you start getting your clicks on the torque wrench @ 15-22 INCH/pounds (not FOOT/pounds, That is 1200% over torqued). Keep the star pattern until they are all tight to your required torque rating with turning even a tiny bit. Always keep checking your levels at each turn. Some rings seems to twist the scope more than others when you are torqueing screws. Verify reticle with the level and a know true vertical line at distance. I have a great steel pole that I use. Then remove the playing cards, which will be pretty tight to get out. I actually just did this twice this afternoon. With my Premier and a S&B. Always works fantastic for me.

I can say the HS Precision are decent stocks for the price. Much better quality than the newer B&C stocks. QC at B&C has really slipped over the years. The old B&C stocks used to be pretty good however. The last couple HS Precision stocks I had were about 2lbs 6oz and they were listed as 2.0#. My McMillan w. Edge fill is about 1lb 10oz, my Manners EH1 & EH2 are both about 1lb 8oz. My McMillan Game Scout w. standard fill is about 2lbs 8oz, and my Manners T2A is about 4lbs. IIRC. Have you checked McMillan stock on available blanks that can be custom inlet to your specs in 4-6 weeks? https://mcmillanusa.com/product/game-warden-select-rifle-specs/

CWT group effort Wildcat Rifle build

I have a great load in my .25-06AI using RL22. So good I have not had the desire to work up a new load. If you have a fairly broad velocity difference in your accuracy node, 40fps changes won't affect POI when temps change if you work right in the middle. I can definitely vouch for the 1fps per 1° temp swing. I go from 3365 to 3445fps between 30°F & 110°F. But since I rarely hunt with that rifle when temps are above 90°, I have a speed swing of about 60fps. Which is still in my accuracy node, so POI shifts very little out to 600 yards. Especially since my load work was done @ 50°F, meaning for anything other than maybe a desert antelope hunt (That I can't draw a tag for any way), 95% of my hunting ranges between 30° to 70°. My baseline for ballistics is 3395fps with the 115 Berger HVLD, so I am good with the swings. My ballistic program is also set up up with the 1fps per 1°, so it can account for the slight changes. -
Great prices on great camo. Wish they were a bit smaller.

I did the stock paint, as others have said. Thanks. I have done a bunch.

Www.stockysstocks.com carries them too.

My favorite reticle is the Kahles SKMR reticle. 3rd is the H2CMR from Schmidt & Bender.
-
Probably the best hunting reticle I have seen. My second favorite reticle I have ever owned.

http://larrywillis.com/ If you reload a lot, just drop the C Note and own one. -
Subsonic .22s.

I am betting SFP for that $600 new price listed by OP.
-
FTF, you come to me, and I will do $1550. If it doesn't sell, it will go on my AR. Not going lower.

I am up in the general vicinity, and there is a huge pack that resides in Skunk Creek. I have seen 18 at a time before, but usually in smaller packs of 3-5 roaming the neighborhoods.

These scopes have some really great features too. Zero stop with the ability to go .4 MILS below zero. So a 200 yard zero, dial back .4 MIL to the hard stop and have a 100 yard POI. Low profile turrets. The SCR reticle is great. Floating center cross and .2 MIL subtensions for wind holds make refined holds accurate and easy. Second revolution indicator is really cool. The numbers in the windows change from 0 to 11 to 12 to 23 when you hit 12 MILs of adjustment. Right now, it sits on my .25-06 AI. But it is coming off this weekend, once I get a chance to play musical scopes between my .300RUM, .25-06AI, and .223 AR.

If he ever shoots prone, stay away from radial style brakes like Vias and KDF. While they work great, they blow dust/sand/rocks right in your face/rifle with the down ports.

IT will work fine but not needed. A good 3 side port design will work just as good if the bore size is close.

I got one more in the mail last night. I think that should be all that are coming in. I will see if I can get it scored tonight and post results. There are some good shooters out there.
