Anyone ever seen or heard of any bear activity in the beaver creek area? I know people talk about the stoneman lake area for bear and beaver creek is only 7 miles or so south of that. I was just wondering, because I was there a few days ago and noticed crap loads of prickly pears in the canyons there. Also found some berries growing on some bushes. I plan on hunting a bit more north of this, but I was just curious.

Hey, everyone. I am planning on doing the fall bear hunt this year(first timer). I was wondering how you all preserve/take care of your bear meat with it being so hot during this hunt. I would hate to have any meat go bad.

...especially if you shoot it across a steep, rugged canyon that takes you several hours to navigate across! Yeah, I am really hoping that I can find a good spot in the high country where I can set up a tree stand to get the job done a bit closer, haha. I will for sure hunt the prickly pears if I have to though.

I am new to trail cameras, but am very interested in acquiring some in the future. What are some good makes and models to look into? Not looking for anything crazy expensive. Also, not looking for the cheapest thing out there. Just some solid and reliable trail cams.
