Haha, yeah I was over there looking for bears this past weekend. I am going after bears right around the same area I am going to be deer hunting. So, I do plan on being out there a good amount, haha.

Sounds good. In the past week I have shot the brute x, bow madness, and bear method. I like them in that orderas well. The bear method feels incredible. I have not shot any of the bowtechs yet though. The bear comes with all trophy ridge accessories, which I like more as well. I actually heard that the top cam/wheel of the assassin has been de-railing. Kinda put a sour taste in my mouth.

I am no expert bear hunter by any means. Just getting into it myself. It sounds like she is using the water regularly though. I would sit the water. Might have to sit it all day, due to the fact that you don't know when she is coming in, but sounds like it is a pretty big bear and will be well worth the wait. I am sure some other more experienced guys will have some opinions as well. Good luck!

Haha, I figured it out. I just shot the bow madness the other day. Really liking that one as well.

Anybody try out the 2013 field ready pse brute x? It looks pretty awesome on paper. I consistently see complaints about the screws coming loose on the cams. These are from the 2012 models though. I am looking at this one, the assassin from bowtech, and the bow madness. Something I heard about the assassin though is that the accessories that come with it are not that great and that most usually just replace everything on it.

Sound advice.
