That might be my issue then. I was grouping way bigger then that at 200. I probably just need to spend some more time on the range practicing and getting my scope sighted better.

I say get what you are going to be happy with. I was originally going to get the viper hd 10x42's. That was until I actually looked through them and compared them to the 10x50's. I saw a huge difference. I ended up just paying the extra money for what I fell in love with. I would hate to spend that type of money on something and not be totally happy with it, wishing that I got something else.

Fortunately, I got a shot on a good looking buck this rifle season. Unfortunately, I was not able to recover him. Weird, because he dropped like a sack of potatoes when I shot him. Once, I got over there, he was gone. No blood trail either. We looked for 2 days and couldn't find him. I know by now the meat is probably bad, but if anyone has found him, I would still like the antlers. If you found one in 6A, please let me know. I was around the stoneman lake area.
