which pack is the best all around for hunting?

I have the Eberlestock J34 and love it. Haven't had the pleasure of packing any game out with it yet, but have been on quite a few scouting trips with it. I wanted a pack that I could use as a day pack and something that I could use for backpack type hunting. Santana outdoors has a bunch of reviews up of a lot of packs. Check them out. Good luck. -

Just finished reading Backcountry Bowhunting by Cameron Hanes. Man, I love this book. I could not put the darn thing down. Great book if you are new to backpack hunting, or just hunting in general. First part of the book is more informative type stuff, like certain gear, diet, exersise schedules, mental battles, etc... Last part of the book is hunting adventures. I feel like this guy gets a lot of crap for the way he does things. He trains all year for hunting. Wonder if these people are mad at how he does things or they are jealous, because he does it and can do it better than them. I say kudos to him. Very inspiring read.

Very cool post! Every one of those animals are trophies in my book. To me, trophy doesn't always mean how big the antlers are. It is about the experience and with whome you share it with. Nice job. ;-) -
