I have been checking mine about every month. I also spray scent kill in the areas I was sitting down and stuff too around the camera. Don't want to be stinking up that area too much, haha. I just put a new one up this past Sunday and am itching to go check it. Probably won't though until middle of July. Gotta let nature happen.

Let's talk about some of the higher end clothing available these days. I have been looking into under armour and first lite. Anyone use this stuff?? Your thoughts? I am looking for some good quality clothing that I can take with me on backpack hunts, so they will have to pack well. Also, not looking to look like I gained 200 pounds when dressed for the cold. For this upcoming bear/deer season, I have been looking at under armour's heatgear. Not totally familiar with how all of these new layering systems work, but am definitely interested in learning about them. Seems like they would work out quite well for what I want. So let's hear it. Under Armour? First Lite? Sitka? What does everyone use and how does it work?

Not really any way of knowing if it will for sure be a bust or not. I can tell you that there is a better chance of running into houndsmen in the higher country. Not guaranteed to happen though. I would hunt where you want to hunt, BUT have a backup plan. In my opinion you should ALWAYS have a backup plan with any hunting you do. You don't have to go all the way down into the pears. Try some transition areas between pine and desert. Also, you could still go after them in the pears spot and stalk. Thing is, who knows if there are going to be a lot of bears in the pears this year. Some years yes, some know. I am a newb myself, and am sure some more knowledgeable people will chime in. My two cents though. Good luck!!

I was just worried about possibly getting sweaty in them and getting then wet on the inside. The description doesn't really say much on the kuiu site. The Tiberons look pretty awesome for summer time. Wanted to maybe try and get something I could use for summer and fall/winter though. Obviously paired with a base layer underneath if needed for colder temps.
