Between those burros and the feral horses all over the rim, we need an eradication . I took a 10 mile loop out of Heber, and besides over grazed forest land, only saw about 120 horses. Not one elk or deer. AZGF is not gonna have anything to manage unless they start hiring wranglers. They need to step up to USFW and get these feral illegal immigrants out of our forests..,

Nope, still in love with it. Even after the honeymoon phase wore of... The Traeger I sold you actually was pre cost cutting, it worked fine for what it was designed for. It was just that cold weather start thing drove me up the wall. The one I replaced it with was a POS, and I fought with Traeger for 4 months before giving it away.

The big difference is their heat exchangers are cast iron so once they get hot they stay hot and have very minimal temp swing compared to the other brands stamped steel. Although the overall metal thickness in the barrel etc is very noticeable too. You won’t be disappointed

Yoder is factory direct, and you’ll need more than double the 1K. Look at the Recteq. They don’t have a unit that smokes and grills with a griddle, but they have a pellet fired griddle. I ditched Traeger, gave my two away and bought Recteqs. Night and day in the quality and function of temp control. Plus they get hot, my Bullseye model gets to 1000 degrees supposedly. I turned it off when it hit 850 when I tried it out .

Questiin about rubber boots for kansas deer hunt
NOTAGS replied to couesdeerhntr's topic in The Campfire
Rubber boots will help. Don’t need anything expensive .I like Muck though, as they’re warm, waterproof, and scent proof. -
Dang… that’s a butt ton of of stuff….. you close a gun store, or just compulsive buy? lol

Hope they bought point guard ….., between the two fires, the entire plateau could be toast. Future hunts for deer, bison, grouse, turkey, and squirrel may be severely impacted. The Kaibab plateau is an amazing place,I don’t know how many Ecosystems it encounters, it’s the closest thing to CO that I’ve found here weather and terrain wise. The dipsticks that decided to let the Dragon Bravo burn “ controlled” should be fired, flayed, and then tar and feathered. I haven’t pulled a tag up there in years ,in fact I quit applying due to the drop in tags and increase in applicants, but truly wish to be able to hunt there with my grandson when he’s old enough. I’m not even sure if the jr doe tags are still offered . That was my daughter’s first hunt and kill. Pray for rain, and no lightning !

40,000 + and still zero% containment this morning. Not looking good .

It was the sauce. I ate the left over sausage today in a sandwich without the sauce… big difference, lol

Jacob Lake is in the GO evacuation, north rim of GCNP is closed. Zero% containment and at 19000 + acres now,

Bayou Po Boys, Andouille sausage and shrimp. Either the sausage or my Remulaude sauce was spicy, the wife tapped out after a half, my scalp was sweating after two. I’ll consider it a win

Came up to Heber Wednesday, unloaded, and miracle of miracles, it started to sprinkle. Beautiful long 4 plus hours, almost. 1 /2” before it stopped. Thursday , repeat , but-not quite 1/4”. It’s been insanely dry up here, I stood in the rain until the temp went mid 50s, got “cool”. Today it hit 90 again. Black Canyon lake is all but dry. Pray for rain.

You go, Martha Stewart! Your deserts leave me drooling! I settle for store bought chocolate cookies and ice cream since I don’t bake . I ate Sonoran dogs and potato salad tonite,

The world is full of sick psychopaths these days, and now our country has soulless immigrants that fled here after committing hideous crimes in their own countries. I no longer look for the best in people, I consider the worse and remain vigilante around anyone I don’t know. We used to go truck camping all the time in my youth, set up wherever. Now I look for ways to watch approaches and limit access.

You did not just go there, did you?

$33… I did catch one other so I could have made$66. Chris was whining …thanks for not showing up to kick my butt .. I’m getting too old for that stuff

Just got back from a day and a half of fishing Lees. Still disappointingly slow. I landed 12, lost about another 6 hook ups that spit the hook, and probably another dozen strikes that didn’t hook. My buddy was about the same. Caught and released the biggest brown I’ve ever caught there, a big female that would go 5-6 honest lbs. and before the shite starts, my buddy who was supposedly videoing forgot to hit the start button on his phone… so no, I don’t have a pic…54-57 degree waters, and the kayakers are still like water pollution. The cicadas were buzzing pretty good yesterday, so that fun should be starting up

My bicep repairs sucked even though neither was fully torn but shredded tendons. If you’re detached dont f around for what I’ve heard. Guys with fully detached biceps that wait, it’s harder to stretch it out and get it right . I’ve never heard of a detached pec, that s a first. Hope you get it repaired and all goes good. My right biceps looks like an implant , but it’s about 85% full strength. You mess around with a pec muscle , you may look like a south of the border boob job…

Congrats on the tag. I’ll die before I draw my Rocky tag most likely, but I’ll keep applying.
