Odds are…. Javelina . I have the same $50 charge, I’d bet 50/1 it’s a pig tag…

I got into birds Saturday... couldnt hit squat. Numbers were good where they were last year. The cool morning was a nice change for opening weekend.

I’d go Leupold over Vortex any day….

Josh, look at the ballistics, the 6.5 PRC smokes the Creed in KE and bullet drop. Only down side will be availability of cartridges. You can find the 7mmRM cartridge in almost any small town. 270 WM too. I’m old school, I shoot the classics. .. there’s so many “new” cartridges coming out each year you could go nuts trying to keep up. Do some research w the ballistic charts, compare cartridge pricing, and what you can find on the shelf each day. Don’t rush into it over a sale, buy the rifle that’s going todo what you want it to .

Ok, I’ve been the guy sitting and watching.. … with the tax stamp going to be gone, and any other changes, is a trust still required to share use within a family and or friends? How’s it going to work out in the new world of the OBBB? If I buy one, can my hunting buddy legally shoot or borrow my rifle if he’s not named in my trust? And will a trust still be required? I’m so frickin confused w this stuff. -

Missing some pertinent info….just saying

I’ve always tried to be considerate , I enjoy being in the forest during the rut, but I do my best not to jack things up for those actively hunting… used to be a thing back when the unit8 cow muzzy hunt started the day after archery elk. We’d be going up on the last day when archery hunters were down to the wire. I guess early bull gun hunts are about the same with bow hunts. My thoughts are you can’t kill at that time if your hunts not open , plus why educate the animals by luring them in , so keep your distance. You can scout from afar by just listening. Jmho

yawn. I'm asleep by 8;30, and up at 5:15 so I've never watched him, nor would I. One less thing for the libtards to cry about for the moment, I guess.

Heck, thats the trick to most of the October cow hunts ....You can pretty often get a shock bugle while its still dark to locate the herd
-
Im sure cows will be bred. Bow hunters get to deal with the conditions all other elk hunters get to deal on other seasons with this year, apparently. No stupid horny bulls on suicide missions ….. good hunters will adapt. Lazy hunters will have tag soup.

That and the emergency blanket… super light, will help ward off hypothermia. I carry all that stuff even on southern hunt.

You’re behind a semi on a mountain road? Get over it… too many head ons on the 260 due to hot heads passing in unsafe manners.

naming the guide in the thread title? In todays society, now it will be repeated as gospel

I believe this is what's called malicious gossip and starting rumors if you have no facts or details....just saying.

Yeah, I did see that on FOX later… it’s that anything with New York in it , well, you know… I didn’t mean that you weren’t credible
-
Not a very credible source of news….

Utah is but a day's drive from AZ... Everyone in our state, and country should know what this POS looks like. Look at Mangione, he fled to a neighboring state and was recognized by a fast food joint's employee leading to his arrest

What’s a good lightweight boot for hunting the Lords deer?
NOTAGS replied to DonkeyMan's topic in The Campfire
I forgot to add that about the Superfeet. I have those in all of my boots as well due to super flat feet, they work great and cost a ton less than orthodics. Best $50 I spent, even in cheap boots.
