I was watching bass fishing on the outdoor channel early this morning (couldnt sleep) and there were quite a few ads for all the new fish finding electronics. The imagery was amazing and it showed you where the fish were at that exact moment. So that got me thinking... how is that ok, and yet having a camera on a tree that shows you a picture of a deer that came by days or weeks ago is not?

Does anyone here shoot a Prime bow? Whats your opinion of them?

Mulepackhunter, I got a similar call about 2 years ago. They said there was a warrant for my arrest and I needed to call such and such number immediatly. I called the Yavapai County Sheriffs Office instead. Amazingly there were NOT any warrants in my name and they said that it happens all the time. I'd arm up anyway just in case.

A few of my choices for deer and sheep wont be available next year. Back to the drawing board I guess.

The majority of g&f employees are NOT hunters. For most of them its just a rung on the state job ladder. In fact you may be surprised at how many are anti hunting.

Im with MoreD, the "heeler" seemed a bit unsure of this plan. The wildlife officer acted like it was just another day at the office. Cool video. I know that if I had walked up that mountain, saw the lion, and then was handed an aluminum pole and told to hook his feet. I would have been like.... "you want me to do what?"

I have truck/field maps AND house maps so there's always a back up. Thanks to this thread I'm now addicted to caltopo.

I do the same thing. I have a map addiction. I go between traditional paper maps, google earth and G&F's Recreational Access website.

Why do I get the feeling that if I tried this it would not go as smoothly? I can picture the deer getting pulled in half or the post in my carport being pulled down. For safety's sake Ill stick to the old fashioned method I think. Cool video though.
