Then after 5 years there either declare it a success or add more years.... They are heavily invested in this.

CALLING ALL DEMOCRATS
4Falls replied to GodIsGood's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Sad days are coming for sportsmen and gun owners. The most liberal President with the most liberal Congress and the most liberal Senate. Thus, paving the way for the most liberal Supreme court nominees. In comes the UN with a voice in our legislation. Out goes even more of our tax dollars. Im voting against Obama, but I feel its a done deal already. -
The private land will be well posted and alot of 23 north of mule creek is public. Tags are available at the gas station in Glenwood, which is not far from Mule Creek, and on the way to Alma which is a good place to access alot of the unit. Weather will be hit or miss. Stay posted to the Weather channel. If it gets muddy make sure your two wheel drive truck is close to a decent road. Have a good hunt.

Im getting ready to buy one. Just wondering what you guys use and how you like them. Or if you could recomend a good medium priced unit. Thanks
-
I bought a pair of Viper from Jim White and have been pleasantly suprised with the quality. For the price they cant be beat. Another benefit in my mind is there size, about that of a pair of 10x binocs. I am now considering a Vortex spotter.

America Remembers!
4Falls replied to Buckhunter's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
God bless your son AZpackhorse. And God bless all our troops. I think everyone remembers that day. Every detail is still fresh in my mind. -
Jiminy crickets!!! awesome buck. congratulations
-
i always remember to bring lots of snacks, a quiet video game, math flash cards (u dont have to say the answers u can hold up fingers) and anything else they might need when I bring one of my daughters with me. Its also a great way for me to get some one on one time with them since they are twins. Thanks for sharing.

Heres a couple pics of the buck my good friend Jed killed on the last evening of the archery pronghorn hunt. Jed is one of the most dedicated hunters I know and the best hunting partner a guy could have. Good job Jed.

a fixed power 4x is perfect. I wish I had my first 30.30 back.

Gotta agree with Mike on this one. As someone who grew up in that unit. Even in the good ole days 1200 hunters is way too many all at once. Wear some Grong orange and stay safe.

showlow guys!!!!!
4Falls replied to iwannakillsomething's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
LMAO... Reminds me of the time I had to go pickup two guys off my crew when some Showlow girls ditched them in the woods. I tried to warn them too... LOL -
Id recomend these clinics to everyone and especially to the novice Javee hunters. They are fun to hunt.. especially primitive weapon hunts and are probably the best way to get kids interested. Besides that they make good chorizo. And who doesnt like chorizo!

Well, My goat hunt is nearly over. Had a great time and saw some excellent bucks. I spent most of my time trying to kill a particular buck. And missed when given an shot, but thats hunting. Hes a great buck who will not make it past the opening day of rifle season.

Yeah, sitting in a blind or treestand is an easy way to kill a coues deer. All you have to do is stay log about 14-16 hours a day in the comfort of a ground blind or from the relaxed perch of a treestand, without moving or even blinking to frequently. Not fall asleep while listening to the wind blow gently thru the pines. Pray that something, a bird or dare I ask a squirrel would just come down to to the water to get a drink just so you have something to look at besides a pool or murky water or an very inanimate chunk of salt. Yep. Piece of cake.

in agreement with both gamehauler and coues&sheep. Ive used both Noah and Ron with equal and excellent reslts. Both have surgically clean shops and are great people.

A buddy of mine saw a very good bull with some cows standing in the roundabout in front of Home Depot in Payson the other nite. Not sure that really means anything though.

Great buck T-roy... And a funny story to boot. Congratulations.
