does anyone here have any experience with Sonic Heads?

Not his year. I got drawn last year for unit 1 bull. Came away with a nice 6x6. There were a bunch of tree huggers up there though setting off fireworks all night long and then driving around shooting in the air at first light scaring everything. (I couldn't ever shoot one of them though it crossed my mind, but if I could get my hands on on of them...) What a waste of a hunt, people do stupid things. I would bet they would stop if one of them stray bullets they are shooting in the air accidenlty killed someone. It was a good thing it was my tag and not my buddys who was doing the calling for me. At 4 in the morning when they started shooting again and drove through our camp he wanted to introduce them to the 44 he sleeps on. I have hunted in AZ all my life and never saw this before, but then again I have never hunted a trophy hunt before. This kinda shtuff if happening more and more. Its illegal as well, but so is setting of fireworks and randomly firing in the air. I years past Ive seen them "target practicing" at water holes, honking car horns and that kinda thing. They're smarter at this sort of thing than we give them credit for. There able to straddle that fine line of what IS hunter harrassment. I even had a buddy get in a full on fist fight with an anti hunter on the Kaibab 10 or 12 years ago. He won the fight (barely) but lost out on a very cool buck.

look at it this ways guys... the longer it draws out then thats one more day that you dont have to hear those five ugly words... "you were not drawn for..." plenty of time left.

its not even close yet. we still have to go thru the "information is being downloaded to the database" phase. everyone relax, and get back to work.

Was told about record amount of apps by local G&F officer here in Chino. Apparently right up until the last few days before the deadline they were expecting it to be a very low turnout but that there were a ton of last minute apps. I have no inside connection, the whole thing about there being a record # of bonus pointer is just conjecture, but I know everyones short of cash these days so its a safe bet. Like I said theres no way to know when the results will come up. Its all computer hocus pocus.

Theres no way to predict it. Once the data is all entered they just let the software run. then its all up to the speed of the servers and data lines. Sometimes its on line first sometimes, like last year, its via phone first. Like i stated before theres a record # of applicants again. I would guess a record # of b.p.ers this year as well. Im sure if you were to call and talk to a live person at G&F they'd tell you the draw hadnt been completed yet. Thats if they are aware that there is a draw.

settle down fellas. The draw wont even be complete for a couple of days yet. Record # of applicants again this year and not enough available staff at G&F. Results should be out by the middle of next week.

either of eastons lower end carbon shafts (excell or epic) are a great value. For the average hunter you cant go wrong with these.

Found a shed this morning!!! Of course it was only about 14" of mulie main beam that the cattle had been gnawing on.

this one applies to almost every pet/animal owner. I got a pair of goats that fight almost everyday, my dog fights with the neighbors dog at least twice a week, heck I even got some hens that do battle. Im an outlaw. Seriously this is a bad one guys.

Speaking as some one who has permanent damage to their hearing from not wearing hearing protection... I telling you youll be sorry later if you dont protect your ears. One of my ears rings so bad 24/7 that there are days I feel like jabbing a 16 penny nail in there just to make it go away.
