She just locked in the election. While I'm not a Trump fan I knew at least whatever damage he did would be repairable. The place we are headed now... there's no coming back. She will change the Supreme Court for decades. Likely the Senate will also trend Dem as well. We think the guy we have now is bad? We ain't seen nothing yet.

All the guys Ive hunted with over the years have surpassed my skill level and moved on. I hunt alone now. The first couple years was kinda boring, but now I enjoy it. I can just do my own thing.

Just put the 10's on a tripod and you'll do fine.

Just when you think you know what caliber you'd like for you next rifle, you go and read a post like this and everything changes. -
Apps are all in, but was wondering if anyone know how to reprint a copy of your license?

Im a solo hunter 90 percent of the time and have been thinking about using one of the lightweight game carts for packing in and out. Does any one here use one? Ive been looking at the two wheeled ones but they seem a bit flimsy. Anyone ever built their own?

Gosh dang I love trail cam season! Great pics.

Thanks everyone. I probably should have been more clear. I dont really plan on using it for packing out an animal, unless the stars align and it happens to die somewhere with easy access which never seems to happen. 9 times out of 10 a knife and a pack frame is the only reasonable way. I was thinking more along the lines of packing camping gear or ground blinds etc. Especially with all the closed roads and such. 6ANut Id like to see a pic of the modifications to your cart.

When I was a kid we fished and duck hunted on Long Lake all the time. I do remember when Mormon Lake was a navigable waterway. Ive caught bucket loads of yellow pirch out of Stoneman Lake. All just distant memories now. Do Soldier and Soldier Annex have any water? What about the other Anderson Mesa lakes, Kinnikinnik (sp) and Ashurst?

Hope you have a great day. Do something fun.

Very Cool. However as a full blown map-aholic this is going to severely cut into my time spent on coueswhitetail.com. I hope Amanda will understand. -

All my usual choices are affected by the pneumonia outbreak or do not have a hunt. I may go against my better judgement this year and just BP.

I have a lightly used ez fletch mini that I'd like to trade for a similar condition standard size ez fletch carbon.

I really don't notice any loss in down range speed with the four fletch set-up I'm using. I was just playing around with different vanes and somewhat stumbled into the set-up. Other than my groups being very slightly tighter, I found it to have one benefit I hadnt thought of previously. I mostly shoot 3 different types of broadheads (T-3's, Gravediggers and Slick Tricks) and though I have no real scientific evidence to back it up, I feel the four fletch set up gives me a little more steering when shooting the fixed head. Thats just my opinion for what its worth.

I've hunted that unit 3 times. Always seen more bears and lions then mature bucks. But have seen a few decent ones. There will be lots of road hunters but it's not hard to get away from them. We always hunted between Glenwood and Alma, all the way to the state line.

Because it's ALWAYS windy here I've found the four fletch with low profiles to work great for me and just group way better on my setup. I am going to try the stealths though.

Thanks for sharing the Oryx pics and man thats a beautiful rifle.
-
I currently shoot the AAE plastifletch max which are a low profile 2.3" shield cut in a four fletch configuration. The stealth are a bit longer so I could probably go three fletch.

I find it strange that Game & Fish was running the roadblock. Seems it should have been Gila County Sheriffs Office. Must be the whole OHV sticker thing i guess. Too bad, its a great event, and I'm glad to see that they got it done in spite of it all.
