I came on this thread to check out your rifle.... then I saw your avatar.... finally forced myself to blink and look back at the rifle. Great gun shouldnt last long. Great price too. Now back to staring at your avatar.

Is quail hunting more of a morning endeavor or do you guys hunt the evenings too? I realize its slot warmer in the evening.

I have it too. Left ear mostly but is starting to creep into the right one too. Its the loudest thing in the room most of the time and sometimes seems worse than other days. Today is one of the bad days. All the technology in this world and yet the doc tells you you just have to live with it. I used to have above average hearing too, now I cant really even tell what direction a sound is coming from. I hate tinnitus.

Havnt hunted quail in about 25 years. For whatever reason I'm thinking about it this year. I was never much of an accomplished wingshooter and add a 25 year old layer of rust to that. The quail have nothing to fear from me.

The sheep are doing great in 6a seems that 8/6b would be an obvious choice. I just dont think its high on the priority list. Had to edit my post after reading the post above. Totally forgot they push domestic sheep thru unit 8 every year. Im sure that has some bearing on any transplants in there.

I hunt alone 99 percent of the time. I have to admit that I much prefer having a partner to hunt with.

Was on the AZGF website and noticed that section where the successful hunter and angler photos is, is no longer available? I liked looking at the photos anyone know what happened?

received an email from AZG&F the success photos are down temporarily as they build their new website.

My guess is someone complained about seeing 'murdered' animals and fish.
