20 and 40 yesterday. Trying to get used to shooting with new eyeglasses on. Elk hunt in a few weeks. Also decided to go with the four fletch.

I loved my bb gun.I used to sit inside our chicken coop and "hunt" sparrows or whatever came in to steal the chicken feed. Also bagged a few lizards and loved jump shooting frogs at Potato Lake. Even took a couple of safaris out to the desert for exotics like quail and cottontails. As a kid I was rarely without my bb gun.

Log into Archerytalk.com. On their forum there is a DYI section that has a huge thread all about homebuilt/homemade coolers. Its really interesting and there are some ingenious ideas.

If you remember the first season with the Coyotes, someone decided it was racist when the team asked the fans to all wear white for a "White Out" it was something they had always done when they were the Winnipeg Jets. Soon it will be illegal to say the names of various colors.

That whole generation are made of different stuff than the rest of us. Congratulations to your grandpa and you're blessed to have a man like that in your life.

I will never set foot near the arctic circle. Neither will I get to spend 20-30 days afield in a year much less a single trip. However, I know what he means about the burning desire to hunt and I too think about it every day. Those three or four days that I do get to go are amazing and keep the smoldering embers just hot enough.

what an awesome hunting rig! Great picture. I had a trailer like that that I sold to Coues&Sheep like 20 years ago. Wish I still had it.
