I dont get to crazy but I wash clothes in scent free detergent, use scent free deodorant and keep some scent free body wipes in my pack. Along with that I do the plant and poop rub like others here. All that probably does me no good, but it doesn't hurt either.

I ran some livestock style electric fence to keep my German Shepard in. The shock wasnt enough of a deterent for him. He'd let out a yelp as he went thru but I guess, to him, it was a small price to pay for FREEDOM.

Ive had 4 lions in my binocs at one time. Grong was there he can verify. A mother lion with two almost grown cubs patiently waiting from a safe distance while what appeared to be a large tom ate on the gut pile of Grongs coues deer he shot the day before.

Bargain price. Bump.

I have a hi point .45, given to me as a gift. Never shot it it just looks junky. I also have a Larsen 380, same level of craftsmanship however it maintains a respectable group out to about 6 feet.

All I can swing is weekends but I have a deer tag and a turkey tag and a lion tag. Bears not open were I plan to go. Heck I'll even shoot a rabbit if necessary.

I cant imagine any forest circus guy with enough motivation to carry bolt cutters out to a waterhole to cut a camera off a tree much less climb up a tree and cut down a treestand. How come you never see a forest service employee pick up an "abandoned" old beer can or tire from the side of a logging road.

You'd have to call on pricing but guys that have done mounts for me in the past are Mogollon Taxidermy in Payson and Mount-N-View in Flagstaff. Both are great artists and great guys.

Ive tried the headphone thing but it causes my ears to play tricks on me. I usually bring a book. Those 14+ hour days in the blind in August can be brutal. Especially the days when not even the trees are moving.

Growing up in Strawberry, raspberry picking was a serious family event. Nice haul you got there.
